since i dont feel like making a long paragraph’d post im just gonna do this is a list of things that come to mind
- you fucks post way too much…page 4 in 1 day and raping the last thread in record time…
- ppl need to focus more on leveling up instead of SOMEONE ELSES gf’s boobs
- i didnt see ppl actually talking shit but maybe thats cuz i dont read a lot of the random posts but if humbag was right and random ppl are talking shit cuz they did semi-well in 1 tourny that happened to also be 1 game single elim…then ya u really need to step back and watch the scene for a while rather then talking big =P

ive been gone since 7/13 and i wont be back till 8/19 lol…but obviously once im back i will be supporting gameworks esp since its hella close to me
They didn’t play on any laggy screens for the tournaments, at least not in blazblue or sf4 singles hmm. I was losing in casuals cuz they were using the laggy ones for those. Single elim doesn’t matter that much for 1st place and only first and second paid out anyway, so I guess u can consider whoever got 2nd place a lucky 100 dollars if u want. GLB would have won anyway I think.
It’s just funny that I did good at 2 sf4 tournaments in a row not to mention doubles last weekend so i’m gonna ride it for a little while since there isn’t a tournament for a little bit. I told myself even though I’m not a big fan of the game I’d try as hard as I could to play as well as possible in the tournaments I enter. So it’s not like I’m not trying when I play or trying to learn what I can about the game, I’ve watched enough of it, I have probably been to more SF4 tournaments than anyone here. My main goal is to not do anything scrubby whatsoever and it seems to be working out. =P
I wish someone would hold something at modchipman’s store soon, hopefully Domingo can put something together before SB4 maybe??

I’m going to start having regular gatherings at my place in the near future. For everyone who’s afraid to come out to Indiana, realize that us from Indiana and Wisconsin have to travel from here to the city to play sometimes, so traveling from the city to here shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.
I live quite close to the East Chicago South Shore station and could pick people up from there if they don’t want to drive all the way out.
I have 3 TV’s in my living room; two are CRT’s and one is HD.
I have PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, DC, N64, SNES, and a PC all hooked up in here (the PC is hooked to the HDTV), and I have 5 or 6 sticks lying around for people to use that maybe don’t have one of their own.
I’m not good at anything, but I’m not necessarily terrible either. I really want to learn MvC2 and KoFXII.
Before I start making plans and changing my schedule around for something like this, I want to know if anyone here is actually interested in making the trip here. I only live 20 miles from downtown Chicago, and only 3 miles from the IN/IL border.

Yeah I do have to say that I have been pretty overwhelmed by BB, Its just been a while since Ive played a game that lets me be more mobile so Ive been having fun with BB. But I do want to get back into SF4 routine as Im getting hella rusty in that now…I just wish the netcode was A TON better…

with the release of online MvC2 I’ve already noticed I’ve leveled up quite a bit. my execution is better (on the TE…need to make this my official stick…) my anakaris has gotten better. and my IM has gotten better (and I’ve learned how to do the guardbreak near flawlessly too).
I CANNOT WAIT for SB4! I’ll get my TE modded by then fosho

SO MANY NEW PEOPLE are coming out of the shadows in the Chi, I welcome you guys really and hope that NOW that we are actually having decent numbers that we get quality players emerging. Please dont be half asses, put us on the map more so and make us PROUD, read up all the information that is being spoon fed, ask questions, help / talk with each other on how to level up…leveling everyone up WILL level you up so keep that in mind. All you 09rs have it made, since most of you are still young use that to your advantage and invest the right amount of time you need to get better if you want to be “the best”.
