Woops, I meant earlier the first 2k ESPN football game was my favorite. 2k4 or something. Fun fun game.
Im taking a short hiatus for SF4 so I can hopefully overcome the mental block I have in that game. Worked for me a lot during my 3s days so hope it works now.
P.S. best BBall game = NBA Live '95 on the SNES. So so fun.
Jim: I bought 2 $20 buck Gameworks cards…one back in '06 and the other back in '07 (because I forgot I already had one…) They have lasted me up to now and I still have credits like mad on them. It’s been a long time since I’ve given GW any money…'sides, the only way anyone runs the risk of spending constant money there is with the stupid timecard shit week after week.
**Everyone else: ** Like I said before, I’ll be at Gameworks Tonight, but I’ll be hitting it up after work and also it’s for a friends Birthday party.
Webster: I’d have fucked 'em up…Self Defense, man…
Oh, they changed their system, from points to credits. $20 used to give you 200 points, but when they changed the system to credits, it was a 1:1 ratio. Meaning 200 points = 200 credits.
Sango used to be 30 points to play, and now it’s 12 credits, technically the cost for each game remained the same, but because of the conversion, if you have leftover points on the card, it converted to credits.
1 point = $0.10
1 credit = $0.25
Technically you got 250% return when they did the switch to credit system from point system.
yea, I need days off once in a while when I feel like I am playing really craptacular. Just take a couples days off take your mind way off the game. Works fucking wonders.
My face hours are technically 9-4. But, I have to get in 45hrs/week. How I get that is up to me. So I’ve had weeks where I just do straight 9/day, and some weeks where I pull a couple 12 hours days so I can leave early to go study.
Riot:: never seen that episode of Futurama, but I imagine so. Cept $20 to become a trillion. Gosh I wish that happened to me irl.
is anybody having a gathering sunday or next friday? or anytime during next week? A friend of, mr. swamp aka segaman whos in the airforce is visiting back in chicago like he does every year and i wanted him to play some of the chicago street fighter 4 people. he be winnin tournies in alaska so whoever wants some alaskin comp post up a gathering and we’ll head over there.
Actually, the old point system, for $25 you get 450 points, $20 I think gets you 350 points, not 200. So yeah, Riot you got something like 350 “new” credits for your old $20 card. You have to pay something like $60 some dollars now to get 350 credits.
BTW, more info on GW’s VIP status (since I paid $2 and bought a new card the other day). Basically you need to pay for 800 credits in the same GW card to get to VIP. Let me clarify. For $35 bucks, you get 35*4 (4 since $1 for 4 credits) = 140 credits. This 140 goes toward the total of 800. But for $35 you also get an additional 60 “bonus” credits which DO NOT count as part of the 800. So, same thing as the old point system, you now still have to spend $200 on a card to get to VIP status.
Bottom line is, keep using the same card, and make sure you register the card at www.gameworks.com and write down the card number somewhere. In case you lose the card, you just have to pay additional $2 to get a new card, but ask the front desk to transfer your old account over and then you don’t lose any credits you have accumulated towards the VIP status. k?
P/S: BTW, what is FADC or df.rh? Where do people come up with these acronym? Haha…
