Thanks guys for the comments, definitely was quite some work to make it run as fast as possible(as most probably saw me running around back and forth!). Can’t stress how much fun I had at the tournament. Eric had me laughing with tears whenever he would get on the stream. Rashad posted the stream link in the tournament results thread for those who care to watch it!
But seriously Id like to thank you guys who came out, we have a place now where competition is brewed and will just keep getting stronger!
So onto the next one fellas! Soon as I get any info regarding the next MCM tournament / Gathering ill post it up!

GGs to all I played in casuals and tourney at BB. Despite my sad-ass performance, the MCM tourney was a good experience; things ran really well and I’ll look forward to the next one. Thanks to the venue owner and tourney organizers!
I can’t believe the MCM tourney had a live stream! Good job with all involved. I watched the SF4 matches. The stream had very very good quality. I will definitely have to check out the next one.
ggs at MCM. though i’d never expected i’d be playing a game i had the least experience with, my first tournament turned out to be great fun. ggs again to those i played in casuals.

so yeah, thanks to everyone that made it out yesterday.
was really happy we had such a good turnout for the first run of these. seemed like more then enough space for everything to happen. food & restrooms were super close in building so I think that made it quite a bit easier for us to continually call matches and have 5 stations continuously loaded at all points in time.
once we moved the laptop downstairs shit went even faster so that will have to be standard from here on in. rashad, the live stream was great man. I just watched quite a bit of it, and it was really enjoyable and good quality.
again thanks to everyone for coming out, and hopefully those close to 100 streamers who decided to be lazy and stay home and watch will make it out next time for an even larger tourney. I think everyone that came out had a great time so hopefully you guys will spread word to your friends and stuff about these tourneys and get both the burbs and city crowd involved! can’t wait for the next one.

Also…Jerry, you should come play with us sometime. we talked about it the last screenz tournament so PM me or somethin if you ever wanna hang with us. Everyone moved these last couple weeks so we all haven’t had time to go to tournaments, shame. BUT! We’ll be hosting a tournament soon once construction is finished at our venue, so we’ll keep you posted.

Nice job Domingo. If you get these going at bi-weekly pace, there’s definitely no need to do GW at bi-weekly pace as well. I’d probably do the GW teams once a month to go along with it, just to have the opportunity to bring in more outsiders to the community. But I much prefer the setup that we have currently for regular tournaments. Just need fans. Lots of fans.

The MCM tourney stream was really good. Commentary had too many false things said, but aside from that it was enjoyable. It was cool that you guys were reading the chat too.
Yeah Rashad and his friend never did live stream for fighting games so they were learning on the go. His friend doesn’t even play fighting games but im glad to hear that the stream was good. He was using a 3g wireless sierra card to upload the stream…so yeah next time its going to be even way better.
