It’s in the same spot it was in last time you were there I think – up by MVC2. They NEED to move it downstairs by SF4 but by the window over where the stupid ticket games are. Agreed?

I think it would be cool to have the best fighting games in the same area but somewhat spread out. Tekken 6 and SF4 are by far the most popular there.

I really think its cool that you guys are trying to do something at GW but I still yet to see the whole point behind it. I mean we already have tournaments in Chicago just about every other weekend…if not every. Why make a tournament in a location that just isn’t suitable to run tournaments? I give props to you Marcus for trying to do something but 1 machine…is only going to cause headaches imo. But if the support is there then by all means go for it guys! Just keep in mind that MCM tournaments can be bi-weekly so don’t worry about tournaments!
I would like to add that **MCM **is thinking of having gatherings at his store, it would include a cover charge to cover cost and thats about it, free casual gaming all NIGHT! Details still to be worked on but if you guys like going to GW then perhaps you guys wouldnt mind another option that would have a TON more setups. Keep in mind that we are getting a bunch of those Asus 23 inch monitors that are used in EVO which would make **MCM **gatherings so nice. Any feedback on this would be great! Im trying so hard to have a place where we can brew our comp to next level guys, please help and support MCM to its fullest! I have ideas brewing still such as 2v2 leagues and stuff but thats all within time fellas!

shit this is gonna be hype, i cant wait till tommorow, just wondering tho i usually play on XBL and i was playin on playstation 3 yesterday, its seems a bit slower (not talking bout online but the game in general) is this because i didnt download the game onto the hard drive or is playstation just that slow, cause the combos i did had different timing on them as opposed to 360
Some people insist the timing is different between the two consoles, but I can’t say I personally agree. I’ve never had any problems playing between the two. If you played on a different TV, it could’ve been something as simple as the TV lag (if it was an HDTV).
Installing won’t make a difference except for load times.
yes, ps3 timing is slower then 360. it’s been brought up in these forums a few times. the game actually runs slightly slower then it’s 360 counterpart, and especially for something like 1 frame links it’s timing you need to adjust to. just try delaying everything you’re doing very slightly and it usually comes off.
and I don’t think it’s an issue with ps3 being slower, it’s that 360 runs it faster then it’s supposed to run. arcade sf4 definitely seems to be ps3 speed.
I’ve seen that around here as well, but isn’t the difference extremely minuscule? Like .0000something of a frame, which would be irrelevant even for one frame links?
I’m not to sure on the exact frame %'age, but I do remember reading about it, and I can definitely feel a slight difference playing the 2 systems through the same input on the same tv.
But either way, just learn how to plink and all your troubles go away
