Yeah tomorrow it is guys, I will call Doc and get the availability for tomorrows game rooms soon as i find out.

EDIT: Both rooms are booked for the day, but Doc will let me know when they leave so we can go in. For the most part Doc says they usually tend to leave around 7-8. So how about everyone just hangs tight till around 8:00 tomorrow and ill post asap when they clear. Best I can do or we can just play in the arcade floor till then. But that would be the $15 tag, i dunno up to you guys. I am getting kind of tired of setting up stuff, really just want to play :(,

i had the pleasure of getting food poisoning on the 4th! backyard full of drunks “cooking” pork chops on the grill when its already dark outside. just barely making a full recovery now. pissed that it made me miss GGA, but at least i didnt have to go to the hospital like last time (shout outs to the sketchy sushi place in rogers park just north of Clark & Albion lol…gdlk poisoning)

i plan on rolling up every wednesday from here on out if youre ever looking for a ride or down to let people roll with you for some gas money.

So i am for sure going to ignite monday just got my work schedule and im off that day so i need to know if anyone wants me to bring my xbox along with marvel and sf4ae cuz im biking there and i dont want to bring it if i dont have too cuz i dont really want to carry my stick and xbox while riding my bike

I dont know about that, look at Wolfkrone. If you are good you could limit your potential to be good at other games is maybe what he meant. I think even if it wasn’t what he meant what you are implying varies on a person to person basis. Some could definitely benefit(developing more meta game, execution and defense) while some would just be ass at everything. But I do definitely think people should play more games cause its fun! I am about to get on some KOF practicing in a few. Anyone know what the tier list looks like in KoFXIII so far?

k’ and raiden are god tier, kula shen kyo and elisabeth are great (maybe andy and iori on the same level) most other chars are considered worse

no one is shit tier so you can play any char and do fine imo

raiden is the definition of god tier though, he touch of death you from an anti-air jab if the person plays their cards right and has enough meter

I think at midlevel play though the list is slightly different, Athena, Clark, and Vice would move up a notch, and some characters might move down, but more or less this is a decent tier list.

Yeah but that’s a game he use to play, I use to play Samurai Showdown but I am not anymore :). I guess I am just saying he is only active in 1 game, at least that is what he has said on the streams.

Thanks for the list, Looks like all the characters I plan on using are pretty good. Really not looking forward to playing against a Raiden lol, he looks beast from the videos.

The Chicago scene for BBCS2 is very small. I also would not suggest that game if you are really new to Fighting Games. That game makes you develop bad habits. Play SF to learn fundamentals, and probably MvC3 or any of the other new fighters to add some flavor since you can probably find more sparring partners for MvC, MK, koF, etc.

I play BBCS2 btw, so I’m not just dissing the game. I’m being practical about the best way to improve as a player.

GGA tonight fellas, Id recommend showing up around 8:00 / 9:00 if you arent going to be checking the forums for an update from me. Ryoko: I disagree with that statement. I feel any game no matter what it is. ( I got my start in SC4 btw.) You can develop your game.

I’m strongly considering showing up but have 2 quick questions. Is the cover 5 bucks just for Wed. nights or is it for SRK guys playing in a gathering no matter the night (i.e. tonight)? Also I’d like to bring my 17 year old son, are there any age rules at GGA when things get late?
