I’m a bit too much of a workaholic, but I made it out to UFGT. I got blown up but had a good times, and want to participate more in the scene.
I’m gonna make it out to GGA this Wednesday, coming out of Evanston. Even though I’m gonna get blown up again, looking forward to playing some KOF XIII.
Ok. So who would be down to come to Champaign July 16th for a Pre-EVO warmup tourny/major crack session/party/food etc?

Definitely had a good time at Ignite. Shout out to Nives for hosting it. And shout out to Brightside for having a beastly Spiderman! Lol. I just wanted to throw it out there that I would be down to host a little gaming session at my house if anyone is near Ignite. I live about 10-15minutes away from there. I play Marvel on ps3. Trying to find a consistent group of friends to level up with through sparring. Hit me up for details!
GGs to everyone who showed up at ignite tonight. I had fun and will definitely be back regularly if we keep this up. I thought it was a pretty good setup (I couldn’t notice any monitor lag) and I think 10$ is pretty reasonable. Thoughts from others who were there? Shoutouts to Nives for setting this up.

thanks people for helping out, and also being honest and paying after. i was going to collect all the money beforehand (but i have no change). planning on doing that next time though.
ignite was pretty happy and they are glad to run things next week as well.

Yeah, I was actually surprised how well it went, considering this was our first time. Nives and I were talking earlier today and we said we were sure since this was the first meetup something would go wrong, but I didn’t see anything. Tactics you should definitely come out if you can next time, hell everyone on the north side should.
Id go but the play time is too small for me, id want it to go till 1 am or something for me to spend $10. Of course if I had more funds and a baby sitter id come out. I will definitely make it out sometime soon to check it out though.
actually they told me that we could stay later, and they didnt care (since we werent disruptive and also its a slower day). 1 am is do-able, but i have to go to work the next day so … got home now …
Yeah I agree with tactics. I def like that place, but if the time can be extended a little longer that would be sweeeeet. I’ll give you a heads up sometime this week if I’ll go. If I do, I’ll bring the marvel setup and power strip again. Btw, it was nice playing with you as well Nives. Pretty nice Zero. You were eventually catching on to my team lol. GGs my friend.

Had a great time tonight, GGs to everybody that showed up @ ignition, thx to nives for putting it together. Hopefully we can get other games in next week besides MvC3 and SSF4AE, but Good shit to the chicago peeps showing up. lets keep this going!

I will still be the point of contact with ignite and follow-up with them, as well as facilitate equipment volunteers.

fun time last night, wanted to play AE but ended up just getting bodied at marvel most of time. GGs Bzerk!
clarifying, the systems were put on marvel (as a lot of ppl wanted to play marvel), but you can put whatever game you want on there as long as you have someone to play with.
gg’s man. Where do you live? I wouldn’t mind meeting up and getting games together when we can.
