So im tired of being free in SF4. I think ive won maybe 6 games since it came out (granted all online). MK is no prob on a controller, don’t need stick to play that well. But for the life of me I can’t do anything in SF with the controller at all. So I was wondering would be a good, cheaper stick to start learning stick on?

Oh, dude…just hit up a Best Buy and see if you can find those Tekken 6 Special editions…they’re really cheap now.
Don’t get wireless sticks. FS3 is a good bet if you can’t find the tekken ones.

Hori HRAP’s are easy to mod. Just need a 5mm nut driver and a screwdriver… good to go.
Thats what ive been reading, only modding i would do would be to make it dual-mod, running on both systems.
And ive heard that as well. So from multiple places everyone has said Madcatz TE or Hori Hrap, so looks like just need to pick between those and possibly wait another pay check before i can splurge on the stick pucrchase.
Side note, i might be able to make Area or GW next week as it looks like u have a tuesday night off. So if i do, im extremely terrible at SF4 and need lots of practice if anyone is willing to help.
You could also snag a Brawl Stick, I think they’re on sale atm…someone mentioned like 49.99 or something.
They’re good to start with, and they’re easily moddable. The only thing that sucks is the knock-off JLF in them, but it’s not horrid by any means and is easily replaceable.
