oh thats great to hear man. There are actually two rockband rooms so if the Marvel guys want to take the one we were playing in originally hopefully we can take the other one, but I dont want to be a nuisance to the staff so I wouldnt mind playing outside at the usual spot, and its cool to hear that you guys had a small tourny going on. OMG Freddy is so broken, me and Michaelangelo were in the lab with him… He has some awesome setups and mixups but yea… Damage scaling is totally broken and gets god like powers for no reason sometimes

Tactics thanks so much again I transferred my previous licence to my new console so I can now play AE offline. Also around what time are people going to start showing up at GGA today? I wouldn’t mind coming early, and I am also bringing my 360 with the standard cords along with a vga cable as well as AE, and mk9.
I’ll be bringing a 360 with cables, MVC3, and maybe AE if I get the nerve to go out and buy it right now. Should I bring some speakers too?

i like how people deem a character broken after he has been out for literally 1 day. seriously though, ppl should leave him in for a period of time so that other players can experiment with him, before so loosely passing out “broken” status on characters. it reflects really badly on a player’s attitude to experiment and learn.
i don’t play mortal kombat, and i havent seen him, but i sure have seen a lot of other ridiculous stuff from other games, and i have also seen things that people thought were going to be really broken turn out to have easy counters and become really shitty, and also characters people thought were going to be really shitty and turned out to be very strong. this also has happened very recently as well. everyone thought c.viper wasn’t going to be very good in SSF4, and she went from D tier to like A tier. Also in the beginning, wolverine in MvC3 was thought to be one of the worst characters in the game, and i m sure i dont need to vouch for his reputation now.
don’t you think banning him this early is just stifling peoples abilities to learn and figure out stuff in a brand new game?
summary: i am not saying he isnt broken, but also not saying he is. only saying that 1 day isnt enough to dismiss a character. especially not fair for the ppl who worked hard to bring the game to you guys.
