Oddly enough, I just got done playing EX playing as Dark Hokuto and Kairi when I just realised something…
I initially thought they were just posessed by the Satsui no Hadou ala Gouki style. However, that wasn’t the case. Then I look it up and instead they use the Chi no Fuiin?
Anyone know the story on that? I’d likes to know. Considering if anyone payed attention to the EX “storyline” anyways.
“Chi no fuuin” means blood seal in Japanese, Ojigishirou. She’s literally named Chi no fuuin o hogoreta Hokuto, meaning she’s Hokuto with the seal of her inherent assassin’s blood unraveled, which her adopted father, Kairi’s father by blood, had placed in the beginning.
SnH is only mentioned in conjunction with one EX series exclusive character, Garuda.
Well, I gathered what “Chi no Fuuin” means, lol. (I know a fair shair of japanese. Mi s/n being imperative form of ojigi suru after all) And I guess now that I think about it I recall the kanji “hogo” meaning protection or some shit liek that.
However I was mostly confused with what the hell it is it exactly. Obviously it’s powerful since Kairi killed Gouki with it… but I’m still in the dark with how it works, exactly. Is it basically the same as the Satsui no Hadou except that it’s genetic and not something that can be trained? (Ala Ansatsuken) Is it basically Arika/Capcom’s version of that Kusanagi clan power thing?
Also, wasn’t Garuda basically made up of all the souls that were sent to hell via Shun Goku Satsu?
