I never get tournament anxiety. Tournament atmosphere only gets me more pumped up. I think I actually play better in tournament than anything else. I love being on the stage in the bright lights, personally. Don’t take this the wrong way, I’m not trying to sound pompous or anything!

I’d have to agree that more majors definitely helps.
But from what I’ve heard, a shot or two pre-tourney helps, as well.
I dunno. I haven’t had tournament anxiety in years.
Man…I still get the “tourney jitters” before every tourney, even smaller ones like FIO or Screenz…guess I’m just a wuss…or a scrub at heart, one of the two.

it’s not so much tourney anxiety as it is playing unknown players anxiety. (I would get this feeling when I started going to arcades in Chi)
I’m wary about the 2 drinks before deal…maybe I’ll test tomorrow to see if it affects my game.
as long as I can get into that tourney mode (better reaction/execution/smartstuff in general) like at the last few tourneys, and play a lot of casuals, I should be good.

Well I modded out my PC SF4 to hell, the music is all oldschool SF music, no announcer, no indestructable song and lots of cool new character skins. One of my Favorites is definitely Goth Chunli with her sexy nylons and garter :O, but Id say the hulk gief and evil ryu are definitely nicely done, and of course bikini cammy / Ninja Claw are up there too! Hahah just got a boxer one thats pretty cool, he has a gotee and I also got a super sayin gouki one.

I get tourney jitters before every match in every tournament EVER. But those same jitters allow me to play much sharper and clearer. Maybe its not tourney jitters? maybe its adrenalene…
