Late night session of me on BB after I finish watching this movie.

I would like some constructive criticism on my game if you guys don’t mind.

[] You get hit by too many things that should be easily avoidable (i.e. you shouldn’t let Nu 3C you at zero range so many times).
[] Try to control the space more to your character’s advantage - as in your case, you need to move around more and make better use of Litchi’s staff.

Those are 3 big things that come to my mind.
#1 and #2 (esp. #2) are something almost everybody need to work on in varying degrees, though, lol.
GGs to Luigi-bo on BB. I was surprised how well our connection worked. Its nice to know that just about 0 lag games are possible with people from Japan vs US.
Your Bang and Litchi are coming along nice. Sorry Arakune is a stupid broke character. I could tell you were getting a little annoyed when you stopped doing anything at the end of lots of rounds.
That’s what I’d say needs to be worked on, pretty much.
Don’t forget about your Barrier Guard, either.
Sigh im starting to hate BB, fucking dumb characters like nu just ruin this game. DUURRRRRRRR I HIT D AND JUST SIT BACK DUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. So many characters feel so damn scrubby. I seriously don’t find it fun having to wait from full screen while i get mauled.
I know exactly how that feels.
But hey I’ll speak for myself and say that I want to be at a point in this game that I can mix my game up on the fly, and be able to properly react to whatever is thrown at me in whichever match up.
So in the meantime I’ll take my losses, and try to make somethin outta it.
GG’s to Mike in BB. Sure I couldn’t get one match on you, and you did blow my high. But you gave me a reason to smoke some more. And at the end of the night I’m going to feel like I’m sleeping on clouds so I’m good.

I understand your frustration Domingo. you just have to learn to get around that shit and im sure it wont be so bad. just like learning hard matches in any game. dont ask me though, I get raped by good Nu players too. I play Arakune and he can be very overwhelming to beginners so I feel kinda bad when I beat some people but in all honestly my Arakune isnt very good yet. Ive been practicing some more advanced combos and loops in training mode but I cant get them off that consistantly in matches yet. mostly my game revolves around recursing all day as long as I can and just throwing bugs at you till you die. basically just zoning and keep away but my combos suck heh.

I think jin especially has a lot of workarounds for situations he can get stuck in. Like ragna’s only options are usually to try to get within standing b range, hell fang range (whatever that burn knuckle move is called), or take it to the air. If he can’t do any of those, the match is pretty favorable for a distance character like nu to win.
Jin has a few more options then just those 3, and he has weapons to fight with from a distance if needed. Keep away seems to be a huge part of this game, so either figuring out how to efficiently fight from a distance, or a correct way to break the keep away game and rush down seems really key.
Nu is retarded, but she’s a legit character in the game. Either gotta adapt to it, learn to fight it, or just whore out and pick her too. I’m leaning toward the latter at this point 
and edit: gamestop.com has changed the release date for kof XII now…7/20 slated release date. apparently in some of the fg general threads I was reading, there’s some QA issues with the game they are trying to resolve (whatever that may be 
) so yeah. 7/20 is the new date. Enjoy bb for another 2 weeks

Nu’s pissing me off, but I think I’m learning how to get around it all, though I didn’t realize her 5.c stuffed a lot of my shit. :wonder: Phreak, that Tager scared me when he got going. I’d lol everytime you got a combo going, and all of a sudden it’s like “what health bar?”

I’m thinking of taking off my pre-order of KoF XII, not because of the drama, not because I’ve played it and hated it, but I just don’t really play SNK games much, and I’m not sure what I was thinking with this one. Oh well…still got SF4 and BB.

I haven’t tried KOF12 yet, but trust me when I say I’ll be playing it a lot (I’m looking at you, Syxx).
You see, I live with a Chinese guy (not an ABC, but an actual Chinese). The people on here that think only Mexico and Brazil play KOF are sorely mistaken. China has more KOF players than the entire population of Mexico or Brazil. There’s an arcade in my girlfriend’s hometown (Harbin, China) that has an entire SECTION of the arcade devoted to KOF98 and 2002.
I know about 20 guys from China that go to my school that could probably place top 3 in a KOF tourney in Chicago (I don’t know much about the rest of the country and their level of play).

Dude I dont have that many tools at distance, my character is a close range fighter. A good Nu can keep me away all day by hitting D while I have to use every button. I need meter in order to catch a win, so im not saying I cant beat her im just saying its boring shit and would rather be taking a shit then to deal with her. I think its going to evolve into being damn good at Just blocking which I kind of like though, just annoying atm since everything she does is like 1 million hits.
Yeah gg’s to you guys too, and ari and friends earlier. Sorry I was being random, I ask both of you to play and then the wife hands me a plate of chicken and tells me to start the grill up, lol. The funnier part is she disappeared after that, and goes to watch tv, leaving me to cook the food, haha. So I was like play a couple, pass game to flip chickuns, play a couple, pass game.
But yeah, got in some games and ate some good food so yeah it all worked out.

you know, sometimes when i play against v-13, i’ll just do a regular jumpin and hold back, sometimes they are so caught up in doing their D spam that I can just hit them from the jump in.
i still think she’s bullshit though, i’m surprised they allow her in tournaments
