The one up is much better than mine but it’s certainly overwealming if you’re not sure how to control her and things like that, I put the notations on the side bar and I’ll probably update the annotations later on when I get a chance.
This is probably the only video i’ll do for the game since there’s already a lot of great stuff there and I don’t see myself playing other characters.
You worded things wrong, you meant a crappy SNK game cause obviously Capcom is selling more, which makes their games better. Only places that play SNK games are in Mexico and Brazil lol. People love SNK games cause all they do is spam moves all day into more moves and more moves and then you just win. Ohh and a super monster revenge ultra low counter jump. I use to love the old KOF games just to mess around and learn all the combos, shit gets old pretty fast. Was hoping this one would be good but I really don’t have time to invest into something that no one is going to play competitively.

Yeah…XII seems more blah the more I think about it. Nothing seriously new, lack of characters, lack of characters supers (No Busta Wolf WTF), characters changed for the worse (Iori has no dp or projectile).
SRX : I havent run into a problem with Litchi’s DP at all, just that it’s got serious range like Jin’s and goes to the top of the screen (I think). I learned to stay out of the air as much as possible against her unless she has the pole with her, while it’s with her I can float around without much worry.
EDIT : Also, would it be possible to get a ride from ya to FIO3?
If they redid the characters id play it if it was good. Too much anime for me, and I dunno Webster when I went to Mexico they had some pros down there and all i saw was massive corner combos with kyo that would own face. But that doesnt mean the game isnt deep, I really think they need to change the whole presentation of their games. Their interface and stuff always looked generic to me, I think the most fun I had was with the sports team in KOF the older kof games lol. Ohh and Jim I think im going to order my Plexi next week, I just need to find someone with the proper Drill bit size for drilling 24mm button holes on the front of my t5 stick so I can place my home / start / select buttons there instead. Im probably going to order a clear dust cover with Capcom etched into it but ill wait till the art is done to make sure I know what works best. I should have my Clear Seimitu buttons this week, any idea what color I should get since your the one doing the art? If not then ill just run with pure clear i guess if it messes with the art too much.
I love hypocrites…Don’t spew bullshit if you haven’t played the game. And bring forth garbage you believe a game has that almost every other game has as well. KOF12 and SF4 both are vastly different than any of their previous titles. So the argument that it doesn’t feel like KOF is well correct, its not supposed to. SF4 does not feel like any other previous SF title. Is it going to be the best fighting game ever, probably not. Will it have its share of bullshit characters? You can bet your ass it will. But what fucking fighting game doesn’t? Play the game for more than a day and come up with legitimate arguments of why you believe it to suck. Which imo no one can do as of now because the game has limited access. At least til it comes out on console later on this month.
Yea I tried out KOFXII here when I was waiting for an SBO qual to start at some random arcade I was at and I wasnt liking it at all. The game looks really nice, but once you play it its so dissapointing. Its just really bland and slow and boring. Plus yea… character selection is weak. How could they not even have Mai in the game!?! They used like 3908038 Mai cosplay models at the last TGS to promote the SNK/Playmore booth and then shes not even in their biggest title of the year?! Nice marketing assholes.

Well whats the point of playing a game if no one is going to play it though. I was looking forward to playing it on console but if no one is going to care for it then why bother? No competition means no point imo. Although ill probably buy it anyways just cause the graphics are pretty nice and to mess with it, nothing to take serious though. And alot of people are referring to SF4 as the best fighting game made. I think its the best fighter Capcom has made to be honest. I do think SF4 feels like other SF games, its turbo and 3s mixed!
Edit: Watching the KOF12 tourney at Devastation live stream was pretty torturing.
Iori does have a DP, he just doesn’t leave the ground when he does it. It’s alright, but I wouldn’t rely on it too much.
While I am glad we got XII with a new look and all, I don’t feel like we should be playing it yet…I wish it had more content in it, some more characters…but I’m not mad at whats there. There will probably be more when (if) XIII comes out, so lets hold out for that. KoF XII is still doing something different than the previous game, and that has seemingly been the longstanding tradition of KoF, and while some of you may not like the changes that were made, be glad they’re willing to try something different.

to be honest i haven’t seen much of the game. I watch a lot of youtube videos but usually not of fighting games until after I play them, otherwise I dont’ really enjoy them but anyway
I hope a few people will give it a try when it comes out… and I mean to really learn the game, and not just judge it by watching a few people who don’t know what they are doing mash away at it. But I don’t think anything that is going to be said here can convince people to change their minds one way or the other.

Well make sure you learn it for real. Like the last KOF game I actually got into where I knew what I was doing was 97 and that’s a long time ago. Not counting maximum impact A silliness. But the idea of playing against people in the series on a regular basis who are willing to actually learn it (not talking about playing online) sounds like it’ll be enough for me to get back into it without just learning a few gimmicks and beating on people who just don’t really care that much.
