That last Noel Brown match was so unbelievably hype. DJ you’re my hero, I’m sure there were some jitters there so I look forward to seeing you wreck more big names. 
Haha, reacting to the whiffed level 3 before Noel was great. That reminds of learning the hard way online that, outside the corner, the :l:+:h: variant is the one that usually works. Still, good stuff.
The whole point of me xfc was to guarantee that the double tenderizers push him into the corner. That has been the first time ever that whiffed for me. Both me and Noel looked at each other initially when I did it, then again after. All I could do was shrug.

That’s pretty simple. It was a safe bet. I called Task at the same time. If he jumps he gets grabbed. If he’s grounded and blocks I stay safe. If he’s grounded and gets hit trying to get closer, I cancel into Torch.

That Japanese skrull had some niiiiiiiiiiice combos, but I’d still take DJ as the better Skrull based on his competition.
Had a good showing at EGL this weekend im on stream quite a bit won a team tourney and came 4th in the main one.

I watched you play. Two thoughts.
You use j2H in some really bad situations. I know that I’m pretty bad with it myself, but you cannot let it be your crutch move. Really good players will xfc it on block and punish. In ultimate you can xfc it, but in vanilla you wouldn’t be able to respond to the alpha counter.
You don’t cover command grabs with assists a lot of times. You do cancel some whiffed grabs into specials, but you can still be punished for this in some situations. You’d be better of covering them with assists.
On a clean corner hit, you could be doing more damage. Something like Launcher Series > Land > Stone Smite > Dash Out > 5S > Launcher Series > Doom Assist > j2H > land > Rolling Hook > charged 2H > Sentinel Assist > TK Inferno > land > Rolling Hook > Meteor Smash > Inferno. This is based on what I’ve seen from both Vidness and from Condor.
