Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons used, along with Sanwa JLF stick from my HRAP EX (which has a Seimitsu LS-56 now), used old Start button from the HRAP EX as well.
Gutted all original Hori parts, added old PS1 Digital M PCB I had. Top row of buttons is non-functional, just super glued in so there arenāt any open holes on the top. Start button added to back of stick. Had to use nuts as spacers along with longer bottom screws to attach the back plate. This leaves about a 1/6" opening along the bottom of the stick, but it works. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fill that it, just lemme know:yawn:
dremmeled down the plastic on the other side so the stick would sit smoothly and removed the tubes around the buttons so I could put snap in sanwa buttons in.
now the stick is very securely fitted to the case and thereās at least a couple of mm clearance between the bottom of the stick and the metal base plate.
I padhacked a madcatz fightpad because I wanted the triggers and was too lazy to do the resistor thing and fitted a dpdt switch at the front to select between up for bumpers/l1+r1 and down for triggers/l2+r2.
the yellow start button on top still triggers the start button and the ugly black buttons underneath are the select/back and home buttons. out of sight is out of mind
huge thanks to toodles for the cthulhu and imp boards. two dpdt switches at the front would have been confusing.
as you can tell artwork isnāt really my thing so I just left the two stickers on there in the hope theyāll appear on the xbla one day, especially under defeat. love that game.
Hey guys, Im new here but have been lurking around for a little while. I am addicted to Blazblue and That made me want to make a stick since it just doesnāt feel fun anymore on the controller, ever since i got to play on my friends TE. So i made my own! With a help by my friends dad with the drilling for the buttons, since i didnāt have the proper tool for it. The rest was done by myself. Well Here it is!
I Spent only about 50$ making this and i am very pleased with it. Made out of a dualshock 2 A series solderless hack. MDF Wood Happ Competition Joystick.
Half happ buttons and half sanwa buttons since my friend donated me 6 from his TE when he bought some new pink ones.
Hori HRAP EX:
Sanwa OBSN-30ās (6)
Sanwa OBSF-24 (2)
Seimitsu PS-14-GNs (2)ā¦Weird I know, no Black Sanwa screw-ins :wasted:
Sanwa GT-Y
Sanwa JLF-TP-8T (wired to the microswitches (no 5pinā¦no harness)
(I forgot to take pics of the innardsā¦theyāre all nicely done up w/ wire looms + shrink tubing)
I can only imagine that Meus is a 15 feet tall, 700 tentacled, mutant Canadian octopus squid, simultaneously playing 700 matches of street fighter against 700 opponents, on his 700 sticks.
