Hey guys finally finished my 2nd stick mod and im postin it now since i got a lecture to go to in da wee hours of da mornin and imma crash afterwards… anywayz long story short after i brought ma BRS themed TE to dis place i grind at, it impressed da peeps there so much i was offered an SE that was either dead or alive and needed a makeover lol (“soldering accidents” X_X)… but ya da original owner of dis SE sud hey if u can revive the thing and make it epically awesome then keep it… and well thats wut i just did… i think?.. the thing came basically empty except for da qds and pcbs so ordered som sanwas and a jlf slapped dat in, fixed da defects and well lets let the pictures explain since im rambling…srry bout dat…
^oh and just to explain the bottom part of the SE…well i was jealous of Art’s TE bottom art and plexi… and so i did this not for looks but…well actual purpose…err joke purpose… heres ma scenario… “Dude i can’t play u cuz ur to [insert whiny comment]…” I reply…" Man, i can’t control dis dam Eva… its the stick i swear!" flip da bottom up… instant pwnage… stupid joke yes… it was more funny when i was drunk but wutever… anywayz imma shut up now since in preview mode dis looked long…err is long… tell me wut ya guys think? did i reach that point of epicness or am i doomed to failure lol…

totally understandable man, sometimes for me simple and clean is good, and those poplars are no exception, but i’m an artist myself so i like design on most things.

about the paint…
Well I thought choosing transparent paint over plexi glass…
was a great idea… It turned out to be a kinda bad idea…
Obviously I can’t change the art, which is fine…
but I had to wait for around 2 weeks, for the paint to completely dry… >_<
When my first stickwas being made…I had only seen a few retail sticks…and I hadn’t too many ideas for the design(shape of the case, width, height, button layout, etc)
Then after I looked at the HRAP 3, ideas started to come…It was my inspiration…
But mine of course doesn’t look as great as HRAP 3…
since HRAPs have more complex design compared to mine…IMO
Anyways, there’s another blank case I got at home…

Okay, I’ll stick to 6 button layout because I didn’t grow up in the arcades, we don’t even have them much here… maybe some arcade machines, but they are pretty rare.
That bottom art on the SE is a great idea! Did you take your own measurements or is there a template out there for that?
And great paint job, you went all out and it turned out very good.
Don’t forget the Aluminum Cases!!! That’s some work put into it.
With wood you have to worry about splinters but have you had a metal shaffing stuck in your hand!?! Way worse than a splinter. IMO.
