Depends on the layout. This hybrid layout fits a full size voltech mounting plate. Other layouts I have to cut them down to fit. Viewlix layout I use no mounting plate as the stick is very close to the buttons.

Yeah, its almost impossible to use it on my lap, but it works great on a coffee table or between your legs on the floor. Thankfully its just a temp 2player stick until I finish my Norris DIY (which I will finish and post pics of later next week).
