Here’s how my HRAP3 stick looks like after a casing swap with a friend’s HRAP2SA. Modded with Seimitsu’s LS-56-01 and Seimitsu buttons with simple artwork beneath Arttong’s plexi. Tell me what you think guys. Too much white? Too simple?
Nice, Joe. Pink buttons would go great with that art.
Here’s my recently modded PS3 TE, stainless steel hex cap screws, Vewlix CP art, arthong plexi with etched PlayStation button layout, Toodles’ MC Cthulhu, Neutrik RJ45 plug and USB jack mounted on the inside of the cable storage compartment, RJ45 PS2 and GameCube cables. I didn’t bother with a 360 PCB, don’t have a 360 or have any close friends that do (and play fighters) either.
I used a PS3 TE, it’s gutted though, the only thing left inside of it stock is the wires/QD’s/terminal strip. I didn’t take pictures of the inside yet, since I’m waiting on some USB cables to come in the mail. Currently have a 3-ft. USB cable tangled up inside since I didn’t have anything shorter.
Here is my Voltech slim case made of zebra wood. PS3/360 dual mod, with the almost overused SFII cabinet art (I think there are still more Chun Li sticks around).
This one (LINK) was the one I did for a friend of mine a few months back. I think the colored buttons looked better though…
I’ve been lurking on here for a while. This is my first joystick I’ve built after months of research and waiting for backordered parts. Thanks for all the information.
Sanwa Jlf joystick and 30mm buttons. Seimitsu 24mm buttons on the back. There a few little blemishes I need to work out, and I’m going to wire it up with the plug and play once I get one of those usb passthroughs. Any one got a link where i can pick some up?
