Thought I would also post this here.
I recreated the art from Blazblue using pen and sumi-e inks on “rice” paper (shuen) and then scanned it into photoshop.
I feel I could have done better on the wiring but I was pretty anxious to finish my first project of this sort. 
That’s hard to look at, because I like Tao, and it looks like she has a Mr. Winky. =(
Nice otherwise though! and the Ika stick above is well done, too. :tup:
I am drooling all over this stick, nice job!
Love the contrast on the art choice, definitely making the stick standout, I might add some black rings to make the white buttons to stand out a bit more.
Definitely a tasty box.

I know I’m late to the party but that is such an awesome idea brilliantly implemented.
Got my Sanwa buttons in and had someone local to cut the plexiglas. Only if Art’s shipping to Canada isn’t at $20, I’d have gone for Arts, but for now I have to go with this, cut with Art’s template, which is a little mismatched. I’m not too good with cutting out the art either, so it’s a pretty shoddy work overall. Though, I’m considering making my own stick eventually.

I’m painting the bezel black and putting art under the buttons, but not sure about the ball top, I was debating between a blue bubble top or the white top already there.
Go for a blue meshball. I’ve always preferred them over bubble tops but its all down to what you think would look best.
I like bubbletops better than mesh, but as bailey said it’s all about preference. Although, I think a meshtop would match your DS template more than a bubbletop would.
I forgot all about the meshballs, thanks for reminding me. I think you’re both right, mesh would work better.
My recently acquired HRAP-EX…I call it the HRAP-EX “BLACK”. Subtly modified with:
4 x Sanwa OBSF-30 ALL Black
4 x Sanwa OBSF-30 Black/Colour
2 x Seimitsu PS-14-D 24mm ALL Black
Sanwa do, do 24mm black buttons, but they can only be found on the HRAP-EX SA, so I had to settle for Seimitsu’s…

Well it’s not done, nor is it perfect. I’m waiting on my Order from Lizard lick. The joystick will be a yellow bubble top. Punches will be black, kicks white, and the last two buttons yellow. I’ll probably re-dye it at that point too cause I did it pretty poorly. The art came out really nice, I still need to clean it up a little. there is some grease from my hands on it there.
I’ll post an update when my buttons and stick come in.
