I learned how to anodize to get specific colors, if you need I can direct you to info on how to get specific colors…it’s all about the voltage

LOL, you made me laugh soo hard when I read this as I have had my fair share of customers like that. I try to persuade them to go against a shit idea but if they are really adament they want it to look like crap I just go ahead and do it. Those are the sticks I never post by the way, some designs are best left hidden from public eyes.

I thought this was the custom stick thread? As in, we modify stock sticks or create them from scratch and do things that are out of the ordinary? But instead, people bitch about artwork because it doesn’t follow common design standards or convention. WTF is up with that?
This is stick customisation, you’re not evaluating the next corporate brand design for Coca Cola or McDonalds. And nobody talks about the changed button position and removal of turbo slot, which was probably more effort than churning out an artwork picture.
I’m not trying to dickride Shin but some of the comments in this thread are stupid.

hmm interesting takes on the design Shin has done for me. I asked him for the characters i wanted and as my designing skills are nil i asked him to get creative with the rest. I think he has done a great job mixing two tough characters. I appreciate no one has played Juri yet but her design is something i personally like. The amount of sticks i have seen with some kind of car or girl on does not mean its awful because they dont play ferrari enzo in SF4. :). All in all i like it. is good to read some of the commments and other peoples take on it though
just… lens flare + vegeta + juri is… not exactly the most charming combination.

a design not being your personal preference is not equal to a crap design…
Either way, it’s clean as hell and looks professional.
edit: I may get a stick done with a lens flare on every button, just so I can hear ZOMG NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE a hundred times while I play a game with fictional chars that shoot fucking fireballs.
Yeah, double lens flare, bad character placement and no unifying theme, not to some color scheme issues makes it a subpar design. Which is a shame considering how good of a job the rest of the mod is. Ah well. We’ll get another unique snowflake stick art is good post here in a couple minutes. I’mma head to class.
