I can imagine! Guilty Gear was actually what got me into the whole arcade stick scene in the first place. I owe that series a LOT. Starting with Guilty Gear X Advance Edition! :lol:

Oh absolutely, I know that the HSS-0130 doesn’t need to have a 2 player control panel. But I can’t imagine using such a wide case for JUST 1 player you know? Especially since I personally don’t have a place where I can just set such a huge thing down and leave it be. It’s the reason why I don’t want to get a Hori Real Arcade Pro V actually! It’s huge! :lol:

And I remember that specific HSS-0130 base! I seriously don’t understand how anyone would have been dumb enough to tape it up like that in the first place, but it’s definitely not something you can’t fix. One bottle of Goo Gone, a few cans of vinyl dye, and a lot of elbow grease should do the trick! :tup:

I would trade everything stick related I have for one. They look great and are already PS3 compatible, no need to Cthulu or any of that shit.

I’d say that getting Super Street Fighter IV and Final Fantasy XIII (or do you mean King of Fighters XIII? If you do, when did they announce this?) since I can only assume you’ve got a working stick right now. That’s what the money saver in me is telling me at least. Super Street Fighter IV alone is definitely going to be worth it. I was madly disappointed in the first one, but let’s see what Capcom does with this new revision.

If you’ve got the stick, get the games first. Especially SSFIV, that’s a no brainer.

Yeah, I got a working stick. Only difference between that and now is, I cut a little design in the “granite” so it’s only on the left half, covered up the last two holes, and I have a giraffe sticker on the right :D.

But I’ve just really been wanting a VSHG for a while now. Especially lately when the SE/TE’s came out. I’m not a big fan of Vewlix(sp?) layouts. I like the Astro City lay outs better.

Also, I meant FF13, not KOF. I’m too disappointed in KOF12 to care about any more other KOF releases that SNK has planned. I’d rant on and on about it, but that’s for a different thread :p.

Nice stick fobi0! I remember that design from a lot earlier in this thread. I still remember that crazy non-slip mat thing you did. That was really hardcore! What kind of mat did you use anyway? It looked like a certain bathmat my dad uses in the basement floor shower room.

And handshakes to you my friend. I’m not a fan of the Vewlix layout either. I MUCH prefer Sega’s Versus City layout over any other layout on the market. Vewlix might be the new hip thing, but I don’t know where Taito they got the idea that straightening the row at the end was a good idea. Probably from their Egret machines! :lol:

I forget if I mentioned it in this stick thread or the other one that was closed, but this stick is made off of a Pelican Universal Stick (LOL). I just measured and cut out a 1/4" panel.

As far as the non-slip mat goes, it might be a bath mat , not too sure, but my dad uses them specifically for counter tops. I only used them cause I was way too lazy at the time to go to some hardware store and look for rubber feet.

BTW, it’s also due for a re-wiring… when I get around to buying a Cthulu. You would be amazed how bad it looks on the inside XD.
