Yo Broken!

Thanks man. The bottom panel is 3 mm lexan (polycarbonate). The same material I use for the top panel. I used Velcro strip from B&Q (around 3-4) to secure it. Sometimes I use magnets as well (after Zenfire suggested it).

Okazaki what magnets do you use? I’m assuming they’re sticky back or something along those lines?

Hey man,

They’re from B&Q as well and people normally use them for cupboard doors. It’s in the section where they sell door handles, door chains and stuff like that. I couldn’t find them on their website, but they look like this:

1.85 per pack of two pieces (medium strength, don’t buy the “strong” strength because that’s 5 without actually making a difference).

I get 2 packs making 4 magnets in total. Then I use a stanley knife to cut the plastic away, and I superglue the metal parts to the inside of the case, and on the lexan, like here:

This might be a little off topic, but can someone confirm if there is plexi covering on the mad catz SE and TE sticks, or just regular plastic cover?

There is no plexi that comes OEM on any of the madcatz sticks.
It is just a plastic cover with adhesive.

TE has plexi, but the artwork is on the bottom of it…

SE has no plexi…

TE has a metal plate, and a plastic sticker ontop of the plate, no plexi. Unless they changed it in later runs.

That’s because the art is printed beneath a thin sheet of clear plastic, so it’s a lot like it from the top.

The SE is just a vinyl sticker without the plastic.
