I know. Most of the time, when I’m at home I’ll use my standard TE. When I go out to places, though, I’ll use the custom.

I didnt replace the stock stick because is good enough to me, maybe ill do that in a future, the only thing that i will add for sure is two more action buttons plus one more in the back near the usb port to use as guide (now i use select as guide button).
I was pretty happy with it…with an exception, dust marks and scratches hurt my eyes, so i tried today to remove those marks with a common scratch remover for car use, and this is the result:

I wired up my temporary stick in a leftover pizza box. I hope I have a nice box soon, but this is functional I guess.
As you can see I screwed up wiring at first (Didn’t realize that the underside would flip)
No quick disconnects, and wiring is ugly, but that will be corrected when I get the definitive case.
Also the buttons are a bit far apart, but for playing shmups it suits me fine, for now.

How did you go about mounting your neutrik adapter inside your case? Was it routered out or did you do something else?

I used alot of other peoples sticks at SB4, being without mine, and this one is tops,. isk if is the seimitsu buttons or just the feels of the casse but its like a newly skinned drum

Well, i could send you the cord and the pcb, but theres a problem, im from Spain, shipping costs will be expensive…maybe you should look for someone closer to you, maybe someone who loves to rip apart AES sticks :looney:

This was a case that didn’t pass quality control. I was going to use the wood to practice finish/paint techniques, but the case grew on me and I decided to make a personal stick out of it. So yeah, the case is not the best, the artwork is complete shyte (as expected for a ?2 print), but it plays great.

BTW: Much props to the Bruce Lee Case (I see you’re in the UK, let’s talk sometime) and much props to the pizza box stick. I can’t believe the stuff you guys do, I’ve seen a Nike shoe box, a metal case (Giga_D) and now a pizza box
Whenever I get annoyed or frustrated (or plain lazy) with stick building, the creativity of the posters here gets me motivated again. Great stuff.
