Check Out My New Arcade Stick! (No Image Quoting)

RTD: You are insane man! Want to donate one??? : )

What’s up with the dual stick one??? Is that for Kung-fu?

Virtual-On stick

Where did you get that acrylic from?

Oh yeah, i forgot about that one. Never really played that game.

Do you have the source pic for the Ice Car stick?

Thought I’d treat myself to my own product lol, actually had a few games the other night!! Now I have to dismantle it for extended plexi testing

If you were to set even a modest price, you’re sitting on like $2.3k worth of arcade gold. Y’all should have been pimping them out like mad during the gold rush in early February.

edit:

nice clean stick doomy.

I got it from a store called " TAP Plastics " I have a local store in downtown Mountain View. I’m not sure if they are spread across the country. Looking at the website it looks like a west coast only company.

If you want me to get you a small rectangle you can PM me.

Modded my EX2 again
Didn’t have any protection ontop of my first mod with self adhesive paper so you can imagine what sweat did to it after a couple of months.

I used 1mm Lexan/Polycarbonate. Although I didn’t have the tools I wish I had (like a CNC Router :wgrin:) I’m still kinda happy with it.

Hey Tiggy your icecar stick made my day man!

^
Thank you! All credit goes to my man poon, he really did a helluva job

I’m waiting for the day that Markman lines his sticks up and takes a picture. I think he would need to rent out a indoor basketball court for a photoshoot if he owns more than 200 arcade sticks. Markman probably could be in guiness world records for owning the most arcade sticks.

rtdzign hooked me up with my C.Viper stick a while back too. Works on like every system. Still loving it and still working mostly great after I got it fixed up. Thanks again rtdzign. The 360 port still goes in and out but only if I start moving the cord around a lot. I got an extra usb cord from you that would fix the problem but as long as I don’t move the cord too much it seems good. PS3 port never has that problem strangely. I can swing the stick any way I want upside down whatever and the Chthulu board never falters. PS2 port works pretty much as good as the PS3 except you have to take the PS2 port in and out a couple times to get it to work. Other than that…it works.

For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

Love red buttons. Red C.Viper is smexy too. The actual stick ball had to be blue cuz I got the stick made for me during the parts shortage so that’s why Viper’s hair is like an off blue purplish color to match the stick. Long as Viper has that red outfit that’s all I care about.

Awesome Balrog stick! beautifully done!

way to quote broken images.

I’ve always wondered, I’ve never seen inside the ex2 sticks, are the bumper buttons, start, select and guide on them usable? I mean, I don’t know what kind of buttons they are, are they similar to a 24mm Hori button, or are they more like the old NES buttons that need a board to sit on? I’ve seen a couple of ex2 shells in the Trading Outlet, but never went for them because I have no idea if the buttons are usable without a pcb sitting under them. If they can be wired up like any other button you’d use on a stick, I’d grab one.
