Cheap Ps2 controller > X360 converter

I was tempted in buying one of these, so i could use a PS2 arcade stick, any luck?

I kinda hate to be that guy, but did you even read the thread? Seriously… most of the posts deal with this question… and they actually name tested gear instead of just giving a vague “PS2 arcade stick.”

Anyone know if a wireless 360 controller with a plug and play wire attached will work with the adapter rather than a wired 360 controller?

If not, what about like a cheap 3rd party wired controller? Maybe a pelican controller or something?

EDIT: Just reread the instructions and noticed that it specifically stated “Official wired 360 Controller” but just wondering if anyone tested out the other possibilities I mentioned.

I have the xconverter360 and the blazepro, the wireless controller w/ plug and play will not work at all. Best best is to get one of those cheap wired gamestop madcatz controllers.

Can anyone test out Rekless Convertor for Saturn Pads on the PS2…

Does it work on the 360

Done here.

Just got mine today after about a month wait from the guy I got it from on eBay. Great converter, my only complaint is the lack of a guide button, but eh. Using it with a custom PS1 Digital-based stick.

Has this thing been tested head to head with the converter Laugh is selling? I know people seem satisfied with this, just wondering if one has an advantage over another, aside from the guide button.

Will this converter work with a PSX as well?

Can someone test a stock Namco stock with this to see if it becomes Xbox360 compatible?

Namco works fine. Compatibility for this and other sticks is listed in the converter thread. It also answers the play and charge question above.

Sweet.

Bought one today and am stocked.

So there’s no guide function at all eh?

Is it as easy as plugging the PS2 controller into the converter and plugging the converter into the Xbox360 or are there steps to take?

There actually is a guide function, but it’s bound to the analog button, which I don’t think any arcade sticks have. And yeah, you just plug the PS2 and Wired 360 pad into the adapter, plug it into the 360, and you’re golden.

Is there a reverse version of this? 360 controller to another system, preferably either PS2 or GCN?

Thank God these are so cheap. My EX2 is breaking and I have a pristine HRAP2 waiting to be used.

Nada. Well, there is a 360 to PS3 converter, but it’s garbage.

Does anyone know about the X-Arcade adapters that they are going to start selling soon? I’m not really a fan of their sticks, but it seems like they are selling 2 for 25 dollars, and they function the same way, by piggy backing an official controller.

They’re just reselling these at a higher price.

Blazepro only works on my official PS1/2 stuff. My Mayflashs don’t work.

I Ordered 3 of these, for me and some friends, and just got today. They work as a charm, but have the same problem as FreezerB, it won’t work with a"mayflash-like" stick. I have one of those generic chinese Sticks, for PS2 and PC (that are fully compatible with PS3 for the happiness of all), and once I plug it, it works fine, buttons mapped, etc. But some info inside the PCB is missing, and there’s a stuck axis, so you can’t play. Everything else works fine, and if it weren’t because of that problem, It would be awesome. Don’t think there will be a solution for that either, so in conclusion, Mayflash’s are not a choice if you’re looking forward to buy one of these. Still the adapter is awesome.

im getting one or 2 for sure
