I see in the frame data, it’s written in the sweep the opponent can’t gets up after 48 frames, what’s the difference with a classic untechable kd? More or less frames in the ground?

No difference, that is just calculated from when blanka recovers from the sweep. Some untechable knockdowns have less or more recovery.

So you have 48 frames to come up with a setup or to space yourself where you want to be.

I was thinking about a thread for the corner game, you think it’s a good idea ? How to make a corner pressure and how to escape and to play defensively when you’re in the corner ? Maybe in the threads discussions ? ^^

Maybe too specific, but a topic on screen control as a whole would work. The corner and the rest of the screen are related after all.

corner strategy: electrocute the fuck outta your opponent as much as possible.

You think unblockables can be founded after a forward throw ? With rainbow rolls in the corner or something like that.

f.throw, whiff electricity, rainbow roll is unblockable sometimes. But it’s focus bait so why bother?

What moves do people generally use after a blocked jab xx hp.elec, does that move change on a per character basis?

Bonus question; best non charged punish for a big obvious whiff by your opponent, does that move change on a per character basis?

there are any number of moves to do. this is why learning that piano or slide is important.

st.hp has more utility though.

If you’ve done st.lp xx elec twice cr.hp works too.

Why more utility for stand HP ? You don’t have a kd, and no cancelable normal.

st.hp has a bit more utility in that you will hit them later than cr.hk which can only hit grounded opponents, it’s safer on block, and it will beat/trade with more moves.

Better damage too, especially on a counterhit.

Yes, just need to be quick. If you hold upback you go to standing and will be vulnerable low, and sweep can also hit the first 3 frames of a jump on most characters.

Ok thanks, and against happies back dash opponents, the best option after blocked elec? Forward Hop to throw seems good.

depends if you are playing a game of predicting or not.

Against shorter backdashes you can just st.hp or cr.hp. You can also OS slide, but thats a bit tougher execution wise.
