Working on some pseudo footsie game to make my timing for u2 easier example whiff c.lk then whiff c.Hk will give me enough frames to do u2 but not enough for upball stuff like this might be useful to bait out the opponentto throw out a fireball… The fact I’m doing a move might make them forget I’m alctually charging especially before that I’m moving forward or backwards instead of just sitting there…
Could maybe be a difference to the reference point being slightly different between the two. I have no access to the throw box data, just throwing that out there.
Messing around in training mode one day I noticed a strange crossover super. I think it was just Cammy and her fast walk speed waling under it and getting tagged on the other side., but has anyone done a non-wakeup super that crossed up?
I notice he moves his hand to the right so he is hitting HP with the middle finger instead of pinky. Dude is mad fast and really good, but I’ve never tried this method so I’m going to try it and see if I can get any results. Will probably take a bit of practice but I am really not a fan of sliding.
The method that works best for me is piano: LP HP MP LP HP hit confirmed off a s.lp or c.lp. Cr.lk and cr.mk into FP electricity is really difficult. There really isn’t an ‘easy’ way to do this technique, it sucks. I’m just going to work on that method piano LP HP MP LP HP.
tried out the ‘spamming’ s.LP against a noobish Sagat… the way Daigo did it against Sagat in Kuwait… kinda worked it stopped a shitload of stuff, but once again this is a noobish Sagat so dunno if it’ll work on a Sagat that’s actually better…
still trying to get the hang of it… and trying to learn the mind set Daigo has when he’s doing this… so far what i’ve found is… after i spam s.LP at that range… although it stops most options it doesn’t stop all but once i throw in a s.MP/s.HP it pretty much stop the remaining options… at least that’s what it seems… gotta get a better Sagat to test this on…
Only method’s I’ve ever been able to get results with at all is sliding lp,mp,hp,mp,hp and pianoing lp,mp,hp,lp,hp.
For some reason the inputs often show me missing the first hp completely when I try to piano (showing lp,mp,lp,hp), and given the successful attempts and some of the failed attempts feel so similar speed/accuracy wise I’m finding it pretty hard to improve.
Sliding always gets me elec, but it throws out a number of ex elecs and mp elecs too just because of sloppiness or accidental plinks. Mp elecs are the worst just because they look the same, and I assume I have +10 when I don’t.
That method is cool cos you will never get ex elec, but it’s physically demanding lol. Back when I played blanka I didn’t know about option selecting, so I don’t know if it lends itself to that sort of thing or if it is slower than sliding when I do it. If I’m not sure I usually just listen to ves so go with what him and the other blanka mains say they all know their stuff
U guys r mine, I main blanka vicariously through you guys now, still read the threads often and see how ur all doing. I don’t have an Xbox ATM (got nicked)’ but when I get one back I’m looking forward to playing with blanka again.
I really have no clue if i’m playing blanka in ae2012. I’m really bored with sf right now so i’ve been playing a bunch of other chars. I dunno what it is. It’s weird cuz i have fun playing him, it’s just i don’t like practicing with him. Anyone else feel this way?
No problem dude, I still have no idea how you are able to do that so consistently. Also I thought you rolled your finger to the right of the buttons so you were hitting HP with your middle finger, if you were doing it with your ring finger that’s crazy.
Ves how do avoid getting a Focus Attack from doing cr.LK to FP electricity using the slide method?
