More i watch about this game, less i’m interested.

officially trying to grind PP cause apparently you can’t really argue with people on SRK unless you have a shitload of points or something. I had that in super, but trying other characters(Yang, Sakura, Fei, etc.) has hurt my leaderboards progess. I lost like 950PP with Sak in the last 3 days. Got 600 back with Blanka today in an hour and a half.

31-3200 is good enough for me, I am sure I can earn more but who am I trying to impress? I just like endless mode better, no stops in the action. And there is nothing less rewarding than earning 1 point lol.

Endless is the best mode imo, and you don’t need to wait between each fight, who care about points ? People don’t play too much in Ranked, and a lot of problems : lag, rage quit fox example.

I know a lot of good players who have 0 BP 0 PP and they just don’t care.

you lose to much then you gain… no point to go through all that hassle. championchip mode in sf4 was really good. you knew exactly what you gain or lose. capcom should’ve bring that mode back.

The PP calculation in this game isn’t that hard to figure out. BP is a little bit weirder, but it’s mostly linear because it’s hard to move down until you get over 15k

Meth: no, it is not. However, it is very difficult to block.

Works on many charActers. I just hit it on a dan in a tournament. Also akuma, chun li, sagat, any big character. Timing is very difficult to be consistant however.

The cross up fp can also be set up after a low rh, or any knockdown, i wrote a massive post on it awhile bak. In that recent japan sbo qualifier or something where mago won and taku got fourth place, taku landed it on a fei long during the tournament.

I like how Blanka’s improvements over the last 7 or so months has been 90% bs hitbox stuff.

having semi-slow reaction doesn’t help online… i freaking hate it when i miss my c.MP came out a tad too slow because by the time i reacted to it… it was too late vs that NEVER happens offline…

Whats interesting is that I think Blanka is stronger offline because you have small frame windows for lots of aa’s, slides, and for ultra punishes.

I don’t know how many times online I’ve been counterhit by fireballs cause of input delay when I’m trying to slide.

If you’re a gimmick Blanka for sure online is probably better, but I think if you are playing him correctly, no.

I’ve actually never seen it cross up that deeply (other than the first time I saw this video).

I hate to do this, but does anyone have the hitbox picture for the jump fierce? I’m really curious to see how this move is even crossing up. Ive known how to do it, but I have no idea why it does, lol.

Cross-up fierce is also awesome against sagat, bc it either will hit sagat, or sagat’s uppercut goes the wrong way.

Is that all the hitbox frames? there isnt like a middle attack part?

Im still wowed, those pics dont remind me of how it behaves. Regardless, the crossup range then is about a cm or 2, not a huge window, but that also means if it does hit, figuriing out if it is cross up or not is very difficult for the opponent.

Its kinda the same principle in trying to block a yun divekick. the hitbox is so small and precise, that the actual character animation obscures the small hitbox area, making it very hard to judge whether or not the move crosses up.

Today at the arcade I was trying to replicate the following.

FA lvl 2 landed -> cancelled into back dash -> forward hop -> pause -> c.MK xx f.hop -> electricity
and hope i get the pseudo cross up that lands in front reset and electricity…
I did manage to do that… but i didn’t understand why it works sometimes why it doesn’t
and the weird thing is… i was facing backwards when i hit him… so… Blanka himself got confused… lol

my question is… is there a specific timing on when i’ll get behind them when i get infront of them in AE?
is it c.LK/c.MK difference? or is it how much delay in cancelling into hop difference?
