So I run a little group of friends that sometimes likes to play for trophies on PS3 in a brazilian forum.
We call ourselves “Platinum Club” but most of us are just old guys playing for fun that sometimes talk about trophies.
To shake things up I decided to organize a little online tournament of AE2012 (since it’s free for PS Plus users).
We got 10 players that gonna face each other in Round Robin format, 3 out of 5.
This is gonna be fun, since almost everyone has no clue on how to play fighting games and I purposely banned myself and another guy who knows how to play, to keep the competition leveled.
The prize for the 1st place will be a 50 USD PSN card given by me. (there’s no entry fee, of course)
I highly recommend that since they don’t know how to play the game, you mandate that everyone must be drunk/high/on some form of drugs. Inebriated incompetent street fighter might be the most entertaining sport ever invented by anybody.
Nice matches on the stream House… gives people the impression that Blanka is a rushdown character with all that elec pressure against people that can’t block.

Derp. I hate this character. Although it was hella fun when I was considering maining her. Just knowing how to cross up burn kick/make it look like crossing up won me a shitload of games, cause I failed FFF about 9999999 times in a real game.
I always play Blanka aggressive which I probably shouldn’t be doing. It’s just much more fun.

It’s Blanka. I was considering maining Blanka ONLY because I get people talking shit about me after games. The hate is hilarious. I probably could Blanka my way to top 8 at my local if I put time into him, and THEN switch to my main (Bison) since I know Blanka won’t work on 2 of them. I think Bison is just as shit, people just don’t like him because of escape options, the character has 0 comeback factor.
Any time I’ve randomly picked Blanka after not feeling to play, and lost, I only lost by a pixel rofl. Other times I win, I get told not to ever come back (they’re serious lol).

Ves after playing jwong rufus. You and I talked about this already. That it’s hard to gauge that matchup since you got the two most godly rufus then everyone else.
I always felt it was even and hard to tell since that matchup is never seen. now that you’ve seen it thoughts?
