Speaking of Paul getting bored… I had a lot of fun last night gaming. The shit was pretty funny. It was cool that everyone was talking stuff and bringing it at the same time. I think I come out more to joke and laugh than to play games. Paul, I am putting you on notice though. From here on out I’m coming for blood when you are on the controller. :lol: Anthony, I’m gonna make you stop playing Dragonov and I refuse to play you Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun. I didn’t. When I was trying to arrange something for everybody here through PnT, I was told that they weren’t sure if it would be a good idea because of the lack of preorders. This shocked me, because I assumed that most of the people here saw that this place was allowing us to use their facilities and do what they can to help support our scene. In return, to me, it is only right that we reciprocate this by making purchases from them. I’m not saying spur of the moment purchases should be made out there, but on something such as this, there was zero reason that any of the guys here that went to that store, who knew T6 was on the horizon, not order it there.
I felt compelled to voice my disgust. Being loyal to one another is a pretty big deal in my eyes. Here a business and it’s owner are reaching out to us to try and give us what we want. They are rewarded by people going somewhere else to make their purchase. It does not give them any incentive to continue aiding us, and we’ve got a pretty good deal going thus far. No good deed goes unpunished it would seem.
There is absolutely zero you can say to justify this matter. Not saying it soon enough is ridiculous. I don’t get any type of compensation by going there and running these things. It’s all out of my own personal time, and I do it all for free. I’m not an employee, therefore it really is not my job to sit here and remind y’all to make the preorder through them. People here went with what was what was closest to them instead of trying to help the place that’s been trying to help them. I felt the need to say how dirty that was. What y’all decide afterwards is your choice. Just don’t be surprised if we suddenly no longer have a place to run tournaments at and have to go searching again. Gamestop definitely won’t help us then.

I’m pretty disgusted that you felt the need to insult people’s intelligence over buying a video game. I think you need to get your priorities straight. Like I said if you don’t feel like it was worth your time to mention it, then I don’t really want to hear you bitching and whining about it. Be productive. You should also try speak to people instead of down to people. I could care less about your feelings. Like we are hear to please you. This is a community of peers. When you realize that then maybe the community will finally come back together like it should be. I’m done with this. Show some respect!
Respect is given when it is due. In this particular situation, there is a lack of respect being shown, and as such, there will be a lack of it reciprocated.
I’ve sunk a lot of extra time and effort to do things for the people here and in return have only gotten grief and disrespect as a result. I’ve been very, very active in trying to help everybody here in some way, shape, or form. I’m not the only one that has done this either. People open up their homes to have gatherings. Car rides are offered, hotel rooms are stockpiled, etc. You guys can continue to think that this is some form of witch hunt when it’s a warning/wake up call that if stuff like this continues, we might not have a place to run these tournaments anymore. From what I had seen, y’all enjoy having tournaments until one actually comes up it seems. It says a lot when you’ve got people trying to reach out to assist in doing something for everyone, and they get pissed on instead. I suppose my problem here is in trying to satisfy everyone when there are some people that just can’t be satisfied. That’s why this community has problems. People want to hate on those that try to take charge and get stuff done for the community instead of stepping up and trying to help improve upon it. Y’all can have it if that’s what you want. I ordered mines from Gamestop. Like I’ve done with every other game I have ever pre ordered. A polite reminder from the dude at the store, plus a little incentive sealed the deal for me.

The Wu Tang Clan rapper, real name Clifford Smith, turned himself in to police on Monday (October 5), after an arrest warrant was issued due to him reportedly failing to pay almost $33,000 in personal income taxes.
His arrest was confirmed in a press release from the district attorney’s office in New York’s Staten Island, reports MTV News.
The rapper has been charged with a repeated failure to file personal income and earnings tax, along with a further charge of misdemeanour failure to pay tax.
If found guilty of the offences, Method Man could face up to four years in prison.
A court date is yet to be set, but Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan said the rapper will not receive any special treatment when his case is investigated.
“Taxes are a burden that all citizens share in a civil society, whether you’re an average Joe on the street or a high-profile rap artist,” Donovan said in a statement. “Because of the alleged action of people like Mr Smith, law abiding citizens face higher taxes and reduced government services.”
Along with being a member of the Wu Tang Clan and a solo artist, Method Man has also pursued a career in acting, most notably as Calvin ‘Cheese’ Wagstaff in ‘The Wire’.
