What would be the best way to practice for TTT2? Playing T6, TTT, or something else?

To be honest with you we tried to play an old tekken to get ready for a new one and it didn’t help at all. I think we played TTT and T4 for a minute but the game was so different it didn’t help at all.
Wouldn’t hurt to familiarize yourself with the concepts in Tekken and get a general idea of some of the more popular moves/tactics. TTT2 is BR with better movement, bigger stages, and a tag button from what I’m being told.

By chance will EX Iori will be tounament legal?
Better question is… Will the console have him on it?
But I dont see a reason why not, he is on both systems.
I know 98’ Iori will be tournament legal and NEST Kyo will both be tournament legal, although I don’t think TO’s running tournaments this week should let him be playable.
Besides maybe Seth, is anyone else from Charleston trying to head to Charlotte this weekend? If any of you guys want to spend the night at my house before hand, please feel free to do so. My place is 5 minutes away from exit 12 on 77N, you’ll be passing it towards Charlotte anyway

Yeah man thats my favorite game right now! Though I must admit im puting more time into UMVC3 at the moment due to the amount of comptetion. I mean i got 3rd place in KOF and didnt even get my entry fee back 
i hope the scene grows its hard to get local matches.
As far as Radien goes, I gotta keep him grounded and away when i use HWA or i could end up in big trouble! and 70 percent of my life gone in 1 combo. Cant wait for the Rematch

I watched some sick combo fiend Spencer vids. The more I watch videos the more I realize I will never be that good at this game. :lol: They do so much crazy stuff on the fly.
Big difference between players in UMvC3 to me feels like it comes down to who has the best defense and set-ups. Everybody can do big damage combos. The better players are doing 100% when they have the opportunity.
I also found out that I might have to work Saturday… I’ll know by the time I get out of my final tomorrow morning.
I’ve played many people online who do 100% damage combos.
I can’t imagine how long it took for them to be that good.
Yeah those guys are so creative when they are adjusting during a match. It’s like watching a chess match sometimes. They start thinking so far ahead that it looks like they are reading each others minds at times. I’m sure there are a few guys who are just good but I think a lot of these guys are spending outrageous amounts of time in practice mode. It shows to. The lesson today boys and girls is that your level of skill in any task is proportionate to the time you spend on it.

Only personal limitations. Most of those limitations are learned.
Doing 100% isn’t the hard part. The hard part is making the split second decision to opt for damage but exhaust your resources, or save your damage burst for another situation, all while dealing with Marvel on the screen o.o

Had to pick up a new copy of T6 today because my old one got damaged somehow. Tried to give myself a bit of a refresher and this shit is daunting. So much to learn. I’m having a hard time even deciding on who to play. I’ve always played a bit of Nina, Wang reminds me of Shun from VF so I’m gonna have to play him, and I remember really liking Lee back in 5 so I think I’ll check him out.
Just learning some Nina stuff and my brain is already fried.
