What’s up man? What games do you play?
Give your number to thehurricane. Top games played there at his house are currently MvC3 and Mortal Kombat. From what I hear, he won’t play again until Saturday though. ShinJuvi sometimes hosts games at his place too.
Unless something comes up, I’m playing some Mortal Kombat on Wednesday (today) at my friend’s house around the evening. We going to be rockin that 2 on 2 shit that nobody else seems to wanna play. :rock:
SSF4 [soon to be AE], MvC3, and MK. Thomas already has my number, he should still have it from Final Round. Do you guys still play for Trident, or is that a no go because it’s summer?

Hmmmm…no, as far as I know, nobody plays at Trident. Sometimes, icege hosts games at a beach house near Folly Beach.
Trident is a no-go now. What used to be the lounge is no more, and is full time food-court realty. All sessions happen at private residences now, unless someone wants to get froggy and shop around for a venue. Speaking of which, i appreciate the work Josh put in trying to find us a venue circuit for his exhibition events. Terrible shame nobody else wanted to go in on it. I would like a much more competitive atmosphere in this state, as i feel incredibly sloppy and rusty since moving here from Arizona. Definitely can’t wait to get back into SSF4 when AE comes out. Hopefully some of you put in work again.
I’m hoping that my plan of getting the MK 2 vs. 2 with my friends works out tonight…if not, I’m down for some gaming with shoryukeners. Just post on here if you’re gaming. No offense, but, I’d give my friends preference at this time because I have not had the opportunity to play some casual games with them.

Here’s the skinny on the NEW CAROLINA Championship Gaming Series:
-Sponsored Games: Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 (AE when released), Tekken 6
-Each “card” will have 8-12 (2-3 for each game) bouts on it
-Wins, losses, and other statistics will be kept
-Matches will be recorded/streamed, pending location and who is present.
-Interviews, match breakdowns, commentary, etc
-At least two events in Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Charleston separately.
-Will be sponsoring a charity organization (ie: Ronald McDonald House) to fundraise for with “Beat a Pro” and other side events
-T-shirts for registered players!? (don’t worry, it’ll be a big picture of me on the front so that you’ll finally be able to see an elite player when you look in the mirror)

I know there are plenty of opinions out there, and would be extremely grateful if y’all would share them in order to make these events fun for not just the players, but spectators as well.
Originally, the winners were going to be rewarded with paid entry for Final Round. While this is still in the early stages, money tends to complicate things and the goal is for this to be simple and straightforward. The T-shirts are just an idea for the time being. I’m more concerned with purchasing trophies/awards first.
Unfortunately, when I approach venues about this, I run into a roadblock of only having two names on the player registration list. In order to sway them to the cause, I need more ammunition! More names! D:<
If there are any questions, ask away. Forgive me if I can’t give a satisfiable answer to some questions, everything is still in the planning process.
As always, let me know if you need my help with anything, Josh, and if you need me to send you my info again. With any luck, a small miracle happens and most people actually get on board with this. I assume you already have the “pros” in mind for the Beat the Pro challenge?
Micha games are at my house and sometime Shinjuvi’s place. Also once a month Josh will host at his beach house.
Games played at the moment is MK9 and mvc3. Next week AE comes out so it will most likely be the top played game with mk being right there. So next tuesday night remember ppl my house there will be some AE sessions most likely on xbox but I’m going to put a swana stick on Rico’s fight stick.
BTW for the Carolina Tournaments for me as a person would love to go but cause of my job I can’t just go to a tournament. I have to plan that thing out with a month ahead so I can’t just reg and say i’m going to be there.
G-Vegas Beatdown 6 is official over 3000 square feet and 12 hours for as many games as we can handle!!!
I plan on hosting games this Saturday if ppl are down to play. Games will be mvc3 and MK. I would like to get some SSF4 action as well so we can play it before AE’s release next tuesday.
I think AE will kill Street Fighter here tbh. People will be excited until they realize everyone is playing twins or somebody that can counter them.
We haven’t even set dates yet for the events either >.>
I’ll probably be doing something weekly/bi-weekly up at Folly after my mom comes to visit.
Zane: Much appreciated, and I’ve still got your info. I’m trying to decide between Wolvy/Ammy/Sent and Wolvy/Ammy/Wesker. Ammy Cold Star allows Wolvy to juggle off of OTG slide, but it’s not as easy as Wesker ground shot. Sent drones are sooooo good though. MvC3 seems to be more about which characters can accidentally kill a team first lol. That’d explain Felicia, because that character only accidentally dies T.T
