I know she is quite similar to** Phoenix**, but… how many Marvel characters have fire/burning moves in the game? One more won’t hurt.
Overall, I think the game lacks some more female chars in the Marvel side. She-Hulk is a total waste of a slot, any of these are way more interesting than her.
And these three guys… they are just too good and popular not to be in, but anyway… I’ll keep on dreaming!
She Hulk was the only non X-Men female to make it top twenty in a poll on CBR among comic fans and had the number 1 selling female solo for Marvel. And Psy is hated by comic fans and Spider Woman has the Bendis pet character attached to her and most don’t care about her.
Others I am mostly fine with. Just don’t spout character hate.
Emma Frost would’ve clearly been the best female choice for the UMvC3 roster.
In reality I was really hoping for Dr. Wily, would’ve been a good villain choice for the Capcom side in my opinion. Alongside that, Miss Marvel was a character I would’ve liked to see, and thought for a bit would’ve gotten into the game during the pre-roster leak frenzy. Also, Thanos. Definitely Thanos.
There’s no hatin’, I just don’t like her, it is just my opinion. To me, there are like 5 females with better moveset than her. Ms. Marvel and Psylocke are also very popular, they were in the top 10 in a lot of forums when UMvsC3 was announced.
And She Hulk is the most popular among comic fans is what I am contesting. Where Psylocke is LOATHED among comic fans.

What’s funny is that Marvel didn’t really want Sentinel in the game either but Capcom pushed for him because he’s such a, uh, “popular” character among the MvC players. You’d think they would have done the same for Cable.
Venom, Gambit, Asura, Megaman, and Lady (DMC) are the only 5 characters that I’m sore about.

Something I’d really like is more fantasy-esque characters. I’ve mentioned Breath of Fire and what not, but what about like… Conan The Barbarian (he’s marvel, right?)
