Why is everyone mentioning mvc2 characters? Give me Sigma, Vile, Batsu, A third strike character like Ibuki,Dudley,Makoto or Urien, ptx ( from lost planet, Capcoms sentinel basically ) and Willow.
Marvel needs to give us Rescue,some random monster, and a girl.

I was really happy with many of the reveals (Rocket Raccoon, Nova), but obviously disappointed a lot my wanted characters didn’t make it - specifically Hayato, Cable Shiba, Gouken, Legion, Emma and Dust. I think AoX and/or AoA versions of past characters would’ve been sick and added freshness to them.
For those that want Cable, he isn’t relevant in the modern comic continuity(SPOILERhes dead**SPOILER) but, he trained the mutant messiah Hope Summers(she sees him as a father because he took her to the future and trained her there ever since she was a child and then brought her to the present when he felt she was ready) and shes a Phoenix/Cable/Seth hybrid so that could be a cool substitute seeing as how she doesn’t like to rely on her powers and instead uses guns.
I haven’t read any comics in the last 2-3 months, but Cable just had his own miniseries. He’s still relevant.
i wait until the trade paperbacks so i havent read it yet because its not out but i heard he just came back for something and died or left again. I would think if someone is relevant it would mean they have either their own title or are part of a group that has a title.
Yeah he did. Marvel seemed to go half and half with characters who were getting their own movies and/or characters that were doing something big in the comics. At the time the character pool was being finalized for ultimate, Cable had nothing going for him though

Despite her weaknesses… it’s massively amusing to use Rimoukon on point after taking out someone’s second to last character, XF3, and watch some muppet try to hit you with something and die. 
Other than that, I’d have liked to see Demitri, Lilth and Jedah in the game (and just generally more Darkstalkers characters), but you can’t have everything.
