Character Specific Glitches/Exploits. Which ones stay and which ones go? ((Check OP))

Vega’s wall glitch is the one glitch that really hurts the game. There’s no question that that should be fixed.

OT: People say that all the time, but haven’t seen any support for it. 2-in-1 combos were glitches at the alpha/beta-testing phase, but that was not the case with the actual arcade release, where they were a known feature.

Well anything that is not intended to work in the game by the developers should go, there is really no room for discussion. I thought this was a discussion on characters and characters moves that should be nerfed.

Im not sure if Fei is the only one that has delay at the end of his forward dash but he’s the only one ive noticed to do this. The dmg scaleing on his rekka’s for each of the 3 hits not sure if that was intentional.

How about all DP trades into ultra? if that hasn’t been mentioned in the previous 4 pages, there’s no hope for this game.

blanka has a short hitbox, certain combos should whiff against him. It makes me LOL when balrog complain about blanka avoiding one of his bread andb utter combos despite the match being a 7-3. Morons.

Didn’t know he has a dodgy wakeup, can’t say i’ve ever noticed it, my meaties always work in blanka mirrors

I tried this on my PS3 version, it doesn’t work. Dan started his Legendary Taunt after the Hadouken hit, but got sucked into Shinryuken, despite being at least 1-2 character lengths away.

Sometimes when Balrog connects with a grounded ultra the last punch will whiff and he can get punished for it. I’ve seen this happen from as far as 3/4th screen range up to just out of sweep range. It sometimes happens if you hit them out of a move with a wide hitbox like shoto fireballs.

Not sure if this qualifies as a glitch, but it just seems wrong that you can get punished for landing your ultra.

the Blanka hit box should be the 1st to get fixed IMO if it was up to me

well this is not new bug: if seth try to teleport after a sonic boom, he do ex uppercut instead.

Zangief’s hitbox is also broken. If you hit him with a c.short/forward at a certain point at the end/just after reel stun, then sometimes it whiffs.

El Fuerte Glitches

  • When running back, inputs in the corner are sometimes ignored. This is easily the worst glitch for him as it can actually cost him the match.
  • Has the same slide glitch that Vega has posted earlier. I’ve noticed it mostly against charge characters and other Fuertes
  • Guacamole trades end up with Fuerte recieving all of the damage, and the opponent just falling to the ground unharmed.

Soul Throw and Falling Sky trade for no damage too. It’s a universal problem for anti-air throws. I could see it happening to T.Hawk’s Raging Storm as well, it doesn’t do damage until he starts slamming them.

Pretty lame considering anti-air throws serve little purpose without air block.

That’s a hit box issue with balrog, it’s not a glitch.

attacks completely going through rufus when he gets dizzy and stands up

fuerte’s fierce punch totally going through peoples faces against half the cast after focus then dash up (ryu, ken, viper, dhalsim, fei, a few others, happens EVERYTIME on dan)

i think chuns ultra needs alot of work. its so useless. ive literally gone THROUGH characters with it
