Rufus’ EX snake strike damage is a ‘glitch’. remove it please, he doesn’t need that kind of damage off of a juggle on top of how safe all of his specials are.
If I could rep you sir I would. bravo.

Against mirror matches it is a glitch, having them completely fall out as opposed to full or 2 hit final uppercuts mean they can punish you when you connected your ultra.
Vega slide glitch

Only against Rose and Sagat , that is the glitch. They intended his ultra to do less damage in the corner , and also for the opponent to not be in the corner after the ultra.
edit - thanks for the neg rep
Sakara’s EX uppercut should ALL hit. At least that’s the move I think, I never play with her so I’m not sure. It’s really sad when I just ultra her for it.
I think the hit absorb cancels should stay in the game. It’s a fun thing to play around with, and pretty difficult besides. Aside from Balrog’s Double EX and Balrog/Abel/Zangief Kara Ultra, it’s also responsible for z5SrXyZjE0I"]Gouken’s Counter Ultra and my favorite glitch, .
Jab Ultras I don’t care one way or the other.
All the other glitches mentioned should be fixed. The right corner only stuff especially, as well as Ryu’s EX Tatsu.
I agree. unless everyone gets the karas 100% of the time nobody is going to care that much.
Whiffing a move with armor is not nearly as bad as whiffing an ultra.
What happens is is that you beat a poke but they were far enough that the second hit of the first shosho doesn’t connect. This is really infuriating. All they need to do is increase the hitstun of that first hit.
Concidering the ability to two in one into specials in SF2 was technically a glitch, I think it is a mistake to remove all glitches. Though anything which causes anything game breaking should be for sure.
I’m not sure if that would completely fix it, but sure.
Other moves with similar issues. Ken’s mp srk. Fei Long’s Ultra. I believe AKuma’s mp & hp SRKs & Abel’s cr Fierce do too, although I have not seen/tested these with my own eyes.
Sorta surprised Viper’s meterless FADC hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Anyway, my opinion is that glitches that aren’t useful at all in an actual fight should be taken out for the sake of tidiness (stuff like being hit during ultra and making the animation all weird, Viper’s empty far hp fadc, various cross under glitches, etc), but glitches that are useful to a character should be left in, since there aren’t any known game breaking glitches.
Please tell me how Balrog’s (or Chun’s) jab into ultra is any different than Blanka’s c.mk into ultra…both are 1 frame links and are REALLY hard to actually pull off in a match (yeah, i’ve seen it happen once or twice, but really…).
So, is Blanka’s c.mk into Ultra a glitch? (consider it is even one of his hard trials, lol)
I just don’t want SF4 to be “one of those games” where it becomes commonplace to see infinites at tournaments, namely Abels on Chun and Chuns on Dhalsim (Vega and Akuma…?). Like the kind of thing where once it gets going everyone just sighs and looks around.
That’s a good point that I hadn’t thought about. Now that leaves to question whether or not Rog and Chuns jab ultra will end up in their SSF4 hard trails or if they’ll be taken out completely.
It’s possible, at specific spacing, that if Dictator tries to c.FP Ryu’s j.RH both characters will miss and Ryu will land in front of Dic even though by his jump arc it appears he should have crossed up.
Ryu and Ken have alot of really weird ambiguous crossups like that. A similar thing happens with J.FP
Question is, if Blanka’s ultra connect from c.mk connects to full ultra? I remember it barely did any damage when I did his trial, as you can see here [4:09]

The full ultra didn’t connect in the video because he didn’t time it right. And even if you do, the trial mode will stop counting the damage about half way through the ultra on all of the characters who’s combo ends in the ultra.
edit: ^yup
ah well that did shit damage cause he doesn’t let the rest of the ultra hit, man. You’ve seen Blankas ultra land right? It pops you up, then you have to make them land back ontop of you. In that trial the guy only does the pop-up but doesn’t finish the ultra.
So it does connect for full damage? Holy crap :x
I doubt it counts as a glitch, though
