Anyone know what the hell was wrong with the SRK site these last 4 days? I haven’t been able to access it until today.

Wheew. I’m glad this place is back up. It was rather aggrivating having it down for a few days, especially since it was through the due date. I ended up updating the site anyways, but I’ll update again tonight now that I have the rest of you guys that didn’t get it to me in time because of SRK being down.
jz_chu: Colors are lookin great on the skintone, man. The skulls could use a bit more contrast, and color variety. Love the pose too!
VSlash: Sweetly designed. I dig high contrast shape-based work like this. I think just a few more whites pulled out on the face would be cool. Like maybe on the cheek.
Hiten: Very dynamic! The blueish shadows are working great too.
Apathy: Cool sketch, man. The extreme foreshortening is very appropriate to the character.
CptMunta: Good work! Tsk, tsk, though, is that a lense flare I see? Watch the path that the grenades are going. Objects like that can’t usually curve in midair like that as they fall.
Zombie: Love the grittyness. Very expressive and exciting.
BanditChain: Good mid-jump pose! Watch your proportions though, he’s gettin a little stumpy. 8 heads tall, mang. 
whew you guys are getting ahead of the game. Here’s my late 'Sim. I originally wanted to do yoga flame sim, then twin arm extension sim but it didn’t turn out too well.

DFist: Looks good, man. I like the lighting on the face. I think maybe his left leg could be moved up to start just a little higher on his pelvis.
SFMC: Really diggin the depth you’ve got with his leg and arm going back.

Rook: The first one is way too bright for me, but I’m diggin the second version. The backlighting works well.
Late Dhalsim
Hey folks, here is my extremely late Dhalsim. I blame it on Shoryuken acting funny as of late, otherwise I would have posted sooner. Keep the comments coming Chainwhore, considering that you are hosting this thing, I feel that you have the honors of the critiques. Myself, I am enjoying all the entries. I am just astonished with the outcome of it all. Great work everyone.

Here’s Rolento in a different style…
Got inspired by the CFJ art, and wanted to give it a whirl. Came out pretty good.
Alright, some crits…
SFMC: I really like all your paintings so far man, my one comment on Rolento is his right arm (grenade holding) looks a little disjointed. Really solid rendering though.
Rook: I’m with CW, I dig the duller one a lot more. Nice line work and structure throughout.
Know-One: Awesome Dhalsim, foreshortening is really working. Awesome Sim expression too.
Hanzou: Welcome to the challenge, good first entry. Couple comments, seems like his cane should be thicker, and we should se it coming out the other end of his fist. Lastly you might want to indicate a bit more of his right shoulder.
Again great job everyone, this challenge is really paying off.
Thanks for the comments Bandit. I went ahead and made some changes to the picture. Most notably the shoulder (or lack thereof). No excuse for omitting something like that, it was pure laziness on my part. :tdown: Hope you like the picture a little bit more.
