No your style of art in that picture is a lot like the animation style in the venture brothers cartoon. I was saying that since it really looks like your Ryu was done in a style comparable to the shows he could guest star in an episode.
And I am excited to do Dhalsim, I’ll probably do this one in pencil. :tup:

I’ll never be able to fully appreciate your comment since Cartoon Network in Asia pretty much is miles behind its US counterpart.
I have to agree with what some of the others have said in that this would make a good exercise. My drawing ability has suffered a bit lately, and it wouldn’t hurt to try and draw a different character each week. It will be interesting to see all the different interpretations of each character as well. I’ll see if I can come up with something!

Oh no, on the original sketch he has a face. That would be weird. But when it came to colouring it in, i chose to do something a little different. Sorry for it not being Alpha Ryu, he’s already missing his eyes and trademark eyebrows, the red headband is all he has left.
I made an edit to the picture, i altered the shadows on his face. (Just in case you needed to know that.)

i was going for the V-Ryu BING stance, but it ended up like HF Ryu thanks to the face and color similarities. i couldn’t wait to just get something finished, so sorry if it looks a bit rushed -.-;
anyway, hope you guys like it. the whole thread sounds like a great idea… i didn’t know SRK had so much talent. :karate:

Pretty nice, but the muscles of the right arm and neck could use a bit of refinement.
Actually there is something there the link to the image should show up when you right click and on the red x and go to properties.
