Only if he has the Tux of course.
well then that’s a different story. Tux ken is S tier in terms of costumes.
Well I’ve seen people do crazy ambigious setups with his jumping roundhouse, ive seen some crazy mist step setups, of course EWGF block strings, Kazuya doesnt seem like a mixup heavy char though, however he fucking HURTS, if you want mixups play law (comboable overhead, amazing back dash, good frame traps, that mp chain has SOOO much range) or hwoarang (soo much shit im not even gonna get into all that lol)
Hwoarang’s frame traps’ mixups, have mixups.
For me personally, I rate Heihachi and Jin more in terms of mixups when compared to Kazuya. High level Kaz players won’t be doing those unsafe strings, they like to mix it up with CADC (store) and look for a ground bounce. I’d recommend Heihachi to anybody who wants a character with a strong mix up game, as his is through the roof.
and with 2013 my frame trap mixups that have mixups will have more frame traps… and im not joking
Amen to that Bruhther
Heihachi’s roundhouse elbows are quite difficult to predict, as it has both overhead and low attack version and they look nearly identical. o_O
If you can put up with Heihachi’s sluggishness, then he’s a force to be reckoned with.
This is what I meant. The OP is searching for a character to pick up some wins with fast. That’s Kazuya.
He’s got the damage, the speed, some easy combo’s with build-in mix-ups and great normals.
If you want to cruise all your way to a nice B-rank just pick him and go for Jin in version 2013.
I have found I am horrid at kazuya, I have always been better at quicker guys who are pokers and footsie. I have never been a comboer, I just have stacked damage and won with occasional simple combos. I guess that is why I am no good, I can’t connect on combos.
