This has got to be one of the coolest supers in the game next Black Heart’s HOD (Heart of Darkness). I just dont like it how capcom got rid of the blur effect during the super, which pretty much gave theming to the super itself. Also, I know you dont have much time to catch someone with Chaos Dimension, but for a casual (for fun or for the hell of it) match, how would you go about setting up this super? Also is this super better or his his Mystic Bash super (or whatever, cant remember the name right now) better than this one? [Chaos Dimension QCF+PP @Level 3 and Mystic Bash/smash QCF+KK @ lev.1).
I like Shuma, but too bad they toned him down. But if you could picture him being top tier (not that I make a big deal out of top tiers, I just use the characters I like…period!) what would he be played like?
P.S: This is a friendly Shuma Thread! Please dont flame!
isn’t this like, the ONLY grab that ALWAYS grabs out of block/hit stun??? thats abusable enough in itself right? nothing that a shuma/doom couldn’t do…
Hey you guys basically covered it. I am in tears to find that people actually know ho to use him. But as I said before throw blackheart and Sentinel in the mix you got a good team.I like to beat down people until I get to lvl three and purposly bring shuma out for the chaoes dimension.LOL
shuma is pretty good.only if u know how to use him.just a lil bit ago i was using shuma pasylocke and sent.thats a pretty good team i say.also with the chaos dimesion u can have it connect.so u do the super on the ground launch them wth shuma or call psylocke as an assist u can do lp lk lp than grap em for the super.i ewas ammazed on how much damage it did.well thats the super combo.the normal comboes i do wth shuma have launch lp lp lk grap and mash the hell out so u can gain life and do alot of life.well tats all i kno hope i was any useful.
The damage wasn’t that much different. The only difference (that I recall) between beta Shuma and final Shuma is that fierce Mystic Stare used to go fullscreen.
The reason why I was able to get winstreaks in the beta (and early final) with Shuma had more to do with the fact that people were still getting used to anti-air assists. The concept of jumping in with AAA backup as an offense wasn’t yet established, which meant that you were still allowed to use anti-air normals (e.g. Shuma c.RH). That stopped being viable in a very short amount of time.
