ok now i have some finishing questions
A. for player select screen music(looped), which ones do i replace to have it play in arcade, and versus mode properly(the track numbers)?
B. at what screens do these songs come into play?

66_p_se2 = not sure?”
First of all, you can listen to them and you should be able to identify it yourself.
51_vs: At the versus screen. Shows character portraits, immediately after selecting which of the two opponents you want to fight that round.
53, 57, Im not gonna answer that.
64_remix: Im not certain on this one. Its the same track as the main menu, but plays at a lower volume. Someone else will have to fill this one in, as I dont know.
66_p_se2: IIRC its another player select track. Probably for versus mode.

How about, no. Theres plenty of step by step instructions in this thread, links to guides, and we’re happy to help answer a well worded question about any parts you’re confused on. However, hand holding is out of the question.
I suggest you read through the thread from the beginning, and pay special attention to the posts that say SRK is not a warez forum.

i m putting together my second remix, i m looking for good trance songs with no lyrics(chorus is fine)

The one bedrock track they used the hell out of on the movie ‘groove’ (great flick BTW). I know its by bedrock, but I dont recall the name. Something about heaven I think.
These are some of the trace songs I really enjoy, but I never really felt trace wound make good bgm for fighters.
lol i loved fockin that movie…it was one of the reasons i got into trance…i got those songs on my very first mix…check out sum songs by dj energy & cosmic gate, they’re pretty cool…btw that Groove song was heaven scent…
the best thing ive found for songs is to just open up kazaa and type in trance…download a few songs and if u like the dj then go from there…alot of songs are done by multiple djs so once u’ve found one they are link to others and most of them have really really good music…just a matter of looking under rocks man

I’ve been trying to follow the echelon selfboot guide, but i run into a couple of problems, First off i can’t find out my SCSI bus # for my cd recorder, but i don’t thinkthat that is necessary if i use CDRwin, is that right? The main problem is that when i try to run mkisofs, the dos window pops up for a split second, scrolls down a billion lines then closes. Can you guys tell me what i’m doing wrong? I thought that maybe i had to start the command prompt then run mkisofs, but i don’t know how. Any ideas? Thanks.
Sounds like you havent read the echelon tutorial very closely. cdrecord needs to be able to at least run the -msinfo command, so you can know the LBA the second session starts at, so you know what to put into BINHACK. If there is a reliable way to do this without cdrecord.exe, I do not know of it.
Seems like we now know why you haven’t gotten the information from cdrecord -scanbus needed above.
Yes, you should be doing this at the command prompt. It should be somewhere on your start menu, or Start->run, enter in ‘cmd’ (if NT, win2k, or XP) or Start->run, enter in ‘command’ (if win95, win98, and maybe ME). However, it sounds like selfbooting may be outside of your current technical ability. Don’t try to find ways around it, just follow the echelon tutorial DIRECTLY until you get it working. Once you’re there, then you can look at other ways of doing things, but until then, trying to do the echelon tutorial without the tools the echelon tutorial lists as required is no different than asking how to burn a CD with only a dinner plate and a fine sharpened chisel.

I know you guys are probably getting tired of me, but i think i need the win32 binaries for mskisofs and cdrecord, (that’s why i cnat ru those progrmas) the ftp link on the echelon self-boot kit doesn’t work. I have a minor problem in useing the ADXENCD program. Hope this problem hasnt already been awnsered on the thread…
When i made my first attempt… it worked just fine. But now i tell it to convert the .wav to .adx and it says it is, yet the file itself is no where to be found. Any ideas as how to solution this problem?? Both the ADXENCD and the .wav files are on the desktop and i would just drag the .wav(s) to the program, then it would convert and place the .adx file somewhere on the desktop. any ideas as to why this is happening??

i m remixing a US mvc2, while hex editing the selfboot to a non selfboot, i noticed the line “Segakatana”. its LBA is 11701 so 5b2e.
i edited the “1st_Read.bin”, ip.bin didn t need editing.
the game boots 99% at the utopia bootdisk part, then hangs, i m assuming its cause the 1st_Read.bin, does anyone have the US non selfbooting mvc2 “1st_read.bin” and “ip.bin”?
my aim is kofiend, anyone who has the 2 files please hit me up.

you have to drag the ADXENCD.exe onto the dos window before dragging the .wavs
Yes its a mix for Marvel. and yeah i figured dragging the program into the DOS prompt then the .wav shortly after I had posted… Well thanx for the help.
