Hey, I just noticed this tournament conflicts with ours here at FFA, which we posted back in January. Would it be possible for us to work something out?
Arlieth: The owner of the arcade that this event is taking place has requested that we run this event on a Saturday during the day. With the release of Super Street Fighter 4 coming in a few weeks it would not make very much sense to run a vanilla sf4 event after its release. When deciding on a date, I had to pick a Saturday in April due to the release of super and the days that made the most sense were the 10th and the 17th due to West Coast Warzone and UGTL 6. I was forced to pick the lesser of two evils so that’s why the 10th was decided on.
how did your 2v2 madness go? i wanted to make it but i got off work at 6+traffic by the time i got home it was 7… well looking forward to this one b/c i have the day off!
btw did you record the 2v2 top8?
Roman: We can’t stream due to a lack of internet at James Games.
Muaythaifan: We had a smaller turn out then expected but we still had some really good players show up. Didn’t get to record the top matches though because of a miscommunication of who was supposed to bring what. We were short 1 AV cable We won’t have this problem next time though.
