CFAS Battlegrounds Season One for Street Fighter V

I wanted to welcome everyone to the new age of Street Fighter with something special. So without further delay, let’s begin this season right with something special.
This will be a 12 week season calculated by points. Points will be distributed based on placing during each weekly event. Please refer to the point’s layout below if you have any questions.
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 4 points
5th- 6th: 2 points
7th- 8th: 1 point
There will be a set prize pool that will be paid out at the end of this season. Please refer below if you have any questions. Prize Pool = Over $1000.00
This will be paid out outside of the standard tournament.
1st: $500.00
2nd: $250.00
3rd: $125.00
4th: $75.00
5th- 6th: $50.00
7th- 8th: $25.00

*Start time is strictly at 8:30 pm each week, this time isn’t flexible since most of the attending players have day jobs and must be up in the morning.

This event will be held on the second floor of Hard Times Cafe in Manassas, VA.

No Smoking in the upstairs of the venue.
This event will take place on Playstation 4.
This is a Bring your OWN Controller Event.
Games will be 2/3 rounds.
Matches/sets will be 2/3 games except for top 3 (Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals), which will be 3/5 games.
In the event that a game is paused mid-match, the player who paused MUST lose the current round.
If the pause was directly due to a DualShock 4 controller connecting to the PS4, then the game must be restarted regardless of the round count, unless both players agree to continue the game as-is.
