Cerebus the Aardvark

I’ve just about finished Book 8, and I am anxiously awaiting book 9 to come in the mail so I can finish the rest of the series.

Has anyone else read Cerebus before?

It’s already turned into the greatest comic, and one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read.

I wanted to know if anyone else has read this before.

I plan to read the series eventually someday. It’s ironic how underrated it is.
Please do excuse me for saying this, but if you liked this series, I STRONGLY recommend reading Usagi Yojimbo, if you haven’t already.

I don’t think Cerebus and Usagi Yojimbo have too much in common, other than the fact that they feature anthropomorphic animals and are (or were, in Cerebus’ case) long-running creator-owned comics.

They’re both well written and are very entertaining.

In that case, I recommend you listen to the Beatles.

Listened to some random songs. They were OK.

Cerebus…underrated?

what?

Overrated. I like Sim for his balls, but the comic is meh in both art and writing. I don’t fall for hype, sorry.

I don’t see much talk of it on the sites I go to to chat about comics.

@frankfurt- People will overrate a lot of things these days, so…whatever.
