Who knows. If the scrub really wanted to know stuff about the game though, I’m sure he or she would have looked up all the moves and their names either before or alongside reading forum topics about the character.

And besides: people use the names of things as references/abbreviations. dp is not the term for the command, it’s f,d,d+f; dp means Dragon Punch, which is the same as saying Shoryuken. Do you ask why people use that instead of f,d,d+f? No, cause they use srk or dp. These moves aren’t known well enough for that yet, so we use full names. If I said DH to CC to DD, reset with DD into DD and finish with a BT, would you have understood?

I mean I looked the move list one time to now which moves has the char but then I never looked it again. I’m just saying I think it’s more understandable/practicable to use normalized command moves instead. Just my opinion.

f,d,d+f isn’t use because it’s a pain in the ass to pronounce it, type it, read it. Just not practicable enough.
I think seriously the manipulation are known better than the names. Especially for someone not using the character.

And if I describe a simple combo as :
**Glide n’ Clap, ****Diamond Scratch, ****Enforcer Elbow, ****Boost-iere **

Odd, I use the names sometimes because I think people understand better but that may be incorrect. I think for cerebella players the motions are easier to understand, but for non-cerebella players lock n’ load, or diamond drop are easier to understand.
