I’m going to stay out of the more serious aspects of this topic, and instead wonder why more businesses aren’t handling tough times the way Sarif Industries has. Even after a mercenary raid that killed several of their best lab staff, decreased earnings, and upcoming hostile regulation… they persevered. All because they had their top men (top men!) … well, top man, on the job.
What I’m saying, purely in jest, is more companies should be deploying their very own Adam Jensen to make sure they stay solvent through various means.
The sad thing is that some companies are actually firing people and blaming obama for it. I know the coal guy did and I know that papa john did. All I know is that I will not be eating another papa john pizza.
John isn’t firing people; he’s going
to scale part-timers’ hours to less than 30. The vast majority of places are going to do this. Did people actually believe something else was going to happen?
The article condemns PJ’s big pizza giveaway. I assumed the 2,000,000 pizzas were an act of charity, but I’m forced to concede that the promotion might actually bring in money in the long run.
If I had part-time employees, their hours would be scaled back. I guess I’d be evil regardless, being wealthy.
Papa John’s literally makes me sick, that’s not a commentary on any political views, it is the only pizza (major chain or small business) I have ever eaten that makes me physically sick every time I eat it. I just stopped eating it but I still have no idea what they are doing to that pizza.
Thats how I feel about KFC, I dont know wtf they do to that chicken but every single fucking time I eat that chicken I get sick. Not the chicken bowls though, I fucks with those.
