Please read the thread about how to get a tourney sticked. This tourney does not fit those things so it will not get stickied. Florida/SRK needs to push it hard for it not to be a huge smash tourney with other games. (not a bad thing at all gigs used to be a 80-110 people smash tourney in orland and was soooo much fun)
From the looks of it, at most it will be a southern region type of major, shit florida has enough talent and is spread out enough that it really never has all the major cities in one place for a showdown. (Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Tally and even the less know cities like P-cola, Jacksonville, St. Pete, Daytona etcā¦) Hopefully this can serve for that purpose and with all of Florida going to one place then the rest of the southern region could at least send a 5 man SSF4/Tekken/MvC2 squad to rep their town. Houston, the Boot, Bamma, GA, North and South Kack-a-lack. I am not saying all the people from these scenes need to show but, your support will only help us to keep strong in this crazy stupid spot we have been put in.
I think it should be stickied on principle. GAMME was stickied and this is a replacement for everyone who was already trying to attend. We are doing a lot of promoting for ALL games, and I expect that SRK will have just as many people as Smash.
Itās not like we are asking for a sticky for months and months, just for a few weeks before the tournament to try and maximize attendance and make sure that we, while trying to serve the community, donāt lose any money or anything.
Itās not a giant deal though, itās just we are trying to do something nice for everyone on both sides of the community so itād be nice to have a sticky in return, haha.

Yea, we deserve a sticky especially since this is the official GAMME replacement. This will be the largest tourney ever hosted in the City of Orlando, maybe even the state of FL. If they read the first post, you can clearly see its not only Smash that will be there. We need as much people as we can get from surrounding states as well, GA, AL, SC, NC, NO, just from every where. I personally drive to ATL twice a year, 7/8 hour drive is not that long. Cāmon people.

After this Iām retiring for the summer to enjoy my Vacation overseas and since I canāt make it to EVO cause of that vacation Iām gonna relax lol. Weāre all gonna need to recoop from this awesome event.
Just had a really great Conversation with Gootecks in California and he gave me some great ideas for the event so Iām gonna put a lot of focus on the quality of recording this event. Also hopefully when he finds the time weāre gonna do a podcast together to promote the event. Stay Tuned.

It needs some kind of artwork in the middle, but Iām not sure what exactly.
It should print at 4" x 6" (like those club flyers that you find on the windshield of your car if you leave it parked for 10 minutes). It can easily be turned into a B&W 8.5" x 11" for printing at your school / library / wherever you print stuff for free.

Now that you put it like, I think GMN should talk to Inkblot to see if he can make it happen. He did close the gamme thread so he does know where we are and what is trying to be done. I do not see why he would say no but he might since like I said there are rules to get a sticky and this tourney does not have any of those things

Yes, please bring any setups you have; having 100 or 10 extra systems can never hurt a tournamentās schedule, only help it.

Yeah I kept my sig the same for the most part. My old name got high jacked after I posted in the MvC3 fourmā¦ Kinda strange.
But yes I would love to run the brackets, it is my game right? I see you are going to enter? Zero still broke? As I said, after this weekend (Titians of Tampa 2) I will know if I feel like there is any reason to add a bonus pot to that tourney. Would it be all right if I brought the setups on both days? I will have the Tvās (most likely) for them as well so they would be more of casuals on Saturday, but if people are down I might just hand write out brackets for a 2v2 tourney on sat as well.
And just to be clear. I will have 3 full setups for TvC:UAS, including 4 wii sticks and 2 converters. I could bring a 4th but I really do not see it being needed.
Oh and GMN, first to 5 for 20? I know you said at Project Stom 3 I was lucky you did not play the game but now I see you play it and I still feel lucky. Lets do it.
