OCV = one character victory.
In a team tourney, that would mean the winner stays on and the next person from the other team tries to defeat them. If the winner from the first team beats all three of the other team’s players, it would be an OCV.

I can safely say that there is gonna be WAY more SRK peeps here than Smash (at least it seems that way)
buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut if all the people who say they were interested (lazy basterds don’t register!) do end up showing, it’s gonna be a massive turnout from both communities.
I’m actually looking forward to this tourney for 2 reasons, one of them being personal. Reason #1 is because FL will have it’s first major in years and I’m glad to be a part of it. Reason #2 is this may very well be my last tourney for a long time if ever! Some of you may know I’m self-employed and business is booming to the point that I may not have the time for the competitive scene like I used to. So I’m gonna treat this tourney like my swan song if you will. So needless to say w/o getting mushy about it I want this tourney to be super hype!!!
What happened to a regional 5v5? Is this 3v3 still regional or is it just general entry?
Hell…I’m looking forward to this mainly because…Well…I love this shit. That and the SF4 series is the only game I’ve been particularly good at…
so… i either have to wait until after 7pm to get drunk, or sober up by 6pm… :bgrin:
The 5 on 5 exhibition will still happen. What my goal is to do is have all of super brackets down to top 8 by like 7 pm. Everyone go enjoy a dinner break for an hour. Then at 8 do the 5 on 5. Then at 10 do the top 8 for super. I’ll put those details up soon.

I’m really happy to finally see a MAJOR gaming tournament in Florida.
I actually think the other method, I think it was called ironman, would be best for a team tournament, because some superstar could pick up two scrubs and OCV the whole thing with the pokemon format.
Regardless, hype is pretty substantial right now.

Now with a successful ECT Over(Amazing support on their stream although they were really confusing with times and such but we can understand when they get overwhelmed with an extra 130+ people showing up to play) we can all focus on CEO becoming something special with Florida.
