I live in Harrisburg an am looking to play some MVC locally. I’m not good that this game but am looking to improve.
Anyone here happen to work at Turkey Hill (or know an SRKer that does) on Stony Battery in Mountville? I was in yesterday, after a shit-day of work to grab gas, got a compliment/recognition for the shirt i was wearing but didn’t think about which one was on til i walked out, and it was my SRK tech talk shirt. I felt like a douche that i didn’t realize it til i was in the car.

Been playing MK and SSF4 the last couple weeks but we are flexable.
I know a couple of guys that live in steelton that play. I was at their spot playing last night. They’re decent, and they play a couple different teams, so you can get some match-up experience. They don’t post on here too much, but if you want to PM me your info, I can relay it to them, and maybe you guys can get some games in. I think they know a DJ at a local bar who plays also, and is somewhat of a beginner, so you should ask them about him also.

I’m in Lewisberry looking for some local scenes. I’m out of a job unfortuneatly right now but I could ask my roommates (whom are all gamers) about setting up some sessions here. As well, I’ll get out when I can.
I wanted to post this a couple days ago but the site was down. I’m not going to be able to host game night at my place tonight afterall. Not sure if anything will be going down this coming Monday either because it is Memorial Day weekend. After that though, we should be back on a normal schedule.

It’s Great to see some more people from the Central PA area! I have recently rekindled my love for the fighting game scene with the “new” MvC3. I would love to see some “tournaments” in this area.

We could always use my place for fight nights once in a while. We have a ps2, xbox360, super nes, one analog tv and one computer monitor. Its not much but we could get some games rolling. I have BlazBlue,Super,and Marvel 2 on my Xbox’s HD. If anyone has street fighter for snes bring it along, or tekken. I’m looking to buy KOF2000 and Garou Mark of the Wolves this upcoming week.

Sounds good, I’ll add when I jump on. Are any of you guys interested in setting up a stream in the future? This is something I would like to promote and really give central PA a name for itself. We seem stretched here in pa, we have doylestown which is closer to philly and folks from easton, allentown, scranton and what not. If we could have a reliable hub set up they could all meet here (in the middle) and we could put on a great show. If interested, or even if your not and just want to play post here or PM me and let me know.

That is great to hear! I am currently looking into what we would need. I do not have a capture card yet but if I can find 30 extra dollars (which is hard with no job ) then we can stream onto Justin.tv from my computer monitor. Hopefully we can get some more folks interested, we will definitely need commentators.
