Cloud, if some of the other Purdue players you met at that last gaming event are coming to this, that might be a nice way to solve your problem of finding a ride.
Hopefully everyone comes out to this. It’s a lot closer for the rest of you anyway. It was kind of a semi-Indiana event but with Fort Wayne coming in partial force this time and with Bloomington obviously around for this one, it should be the best in-state event to date.

SF Addicts has had like 2 tournaments I think and I went to one. We just have problem getting people organized and I dunno if that’s the fault of the organizers or the people in the group.
I never really believed much in Facebook groups. There are some active groups but for the most part, they are mostly just there for the hell of it.
I wouldn’t keep myself from having fun because of a hard final. I think punishing yourself from having any sort of fun break does more harm than good. It’s good to postpone stuff but I wouldn’t exclude myself from stuff all semester.
I know I definately need to study more next semester. I can’t handle cramming because my brain hurt for several days after studying as hard as I ever have done…ever. I’m just making a resolve to make sure that I only get As and Bs next semester. It will be hard, but I don’t think it’s impossible.
As far as anything relating to this forum. I hope to practice a little more on the games so I can be somewhat competitive when I get back. I don’t know if 3 weeks would be long enough to get decent but it’s something to work towards.

We’re still alive and kicking up here. At least for me, I have been quite busy as of late. Keeping up with school work is hard business!
I know how that is, I’m taking 18 hours. If all goes as planned the next party will be at panda’s and then the MWC is also that weekend. I’m really looking forward to nickel city. Hopefully, the whole crew will make it out to nickel.

Phil you missed this past friday, there were like 8 ppl at my place, playing mainly gg#reload and SC3, I had to set up my second tv outside. As for this comming up weekend, call me up on friday, i’m sure at least some of the guys are up for it.

Coulda sworn I posted at 12 midnight. Anyway, sucks I wasn’t there, but I went to Nickel’s friday night and that made up for it since I got to check out their GGXX/ machine and got my butt raped by the craziness of faust and order-sol. 3rd strike on the other hand was fun.

Man I don’t know about any machines. The only Third Strike machine I ever remember seeing was in Circle Centre, and I’ve never seen any comp there at all…of course I’ve only been like 4 times so I don’t know.
As far as players go, the only one I know from there is Riot Guard. He’s from the area. He’d give you much better answers.
I have a question. If you’re down for some 3rd Strike, me and my friends could come up (since it’s only an hour away or so) if you ever find a machine. Or we could play at your place, or you can come here…either way is fine. I’d like some new competition.
Sounds cool, I 'm still learning the game though, so I can’t promise anything more than absolute scrub play. Do they still have the 3s machine in the IU campus arcade? I remember one of the sides was broke for a while.
The machine at circle centre last time I checked was shot. That was the only arcade that had one and that was like 2 and half years ago.
