yeah i saw that acouple early last week lol (im a constant on the gen threads :P) and yes it would be useful for akumas standing roundhouse. BOTH hits can be “FArried”. also akumas tatsu can be fully FArried. things like abels c.hp naw not gonna work cuz it’s a bit faster and harder to time. the video showed probably the best opportunities for using it. oh and last i checked someone was testing the lariot. dont know if they managed to do it lol.
i myself have accomplished it on fireballs but thats all im willing to use it on. i can do it currently 1/20 times. but then again i haven’t been playing.
btw mike can you give me the link again for the ps2-xbox converter? sorry but i actually have money now haha. i’ve not heard of the new stick but am interested!

Lol, it’s funny but I know most of that (excluding the super technical +2 fireball info, whatever that means) without having ever read any of the SF IV manual… It’s pretty easy to figure out even when messing around, if one is paying attention. But then, I don’t base any of my game play or anything I say around break windows etc, just what I experience when I’m on the stick.
And my experience is that, even though I usually know what the Old One is going to do 3 out of 4 times, I still can’t do anything about it, lol. Whether it is vs a skilled player or some newb mashing, I get rolled by Gouken more often than not, that’s just the way it is.
Of course, I myself don’t play above an average level so I’m really not too worried about it. It’s like…a really really fat person commenting on a mistake a pro-football player makes. Sure, he might know better, and could have advised the person on the field of what to do/not do or what to expect from the opposing team, but could he actually get out there and do it himself?
So whenever I talk it’s all hot air, lol. I call myself the complacent scrub for a reason.

Also I finally finished up fixing my 360. Spoofed a dvd drive from a RROD system to act as the dvd drive in my working console (had dvd drive problems) and so far so good lol. Now to get some 360 games again. Let me know if anything goes on today as far as gaming goes. I still need to register for the tournament lol
